Powering up my Splinterlands monsters
I have been playing @splinterlands for a couple of years. I started with a free pack that I got at SF3 in Krakow (okay, so it cost me to get there) and I have been hooked ever since. I have spent a fair bit on cards, but I am still not in the top leagues. Before the recent changes to limit us by card power I could get into the Champions league and win lots of rewards, but now I am stuck in Gold. I am mainly using my winnings to improve my cards.
I do my daily quest each day and often play some extra battles to try and earn a little more DEC as well as getting to the highest league I can before the end of the season.
I recently won the gold version of this card. It was not one I was likely to use in battles and with a value of about $12 it could fund some upgrades. I had to adjust the price a little on the market as it was not quick to sell, but today I saw my DEC balance increase by a large amount and I knew it had gone.
One of those I wanted to upgrade was my trusty Crustacean King. By getting to level six it gains Protect to add some armour to all cards. I play Water quite a lot. I have most of my good cards levelled up as far as my summoner can handle. With this one, the self-healing Sea Monster (with thorns) and my gold Mermaid Healer (my most valuable card) there is lots of healing going on.
I have been facing the various 'enminers' accounts a lot. I assume these are all run by one person, possibly automated. Some of them have very good cards, but I can take some pleasure in beating them when possible.
You may notice the summoners are not visible. This is a long-standing bug that affects Linux systems. Recently they have been appearing some of the time. When they do the game slows down noticeably, so I am not sure if I want to see them.
If you have yet to play then you can use my affiliate link for me to earn a little when you buy items. It does not make me much generally.
Splinterlands often have promotions where you have a chance of good votes for posting about the game. I suspect a lot of players do not post, so they are missing out.
To battle!
