Results of Week Nine: Data Lost

Well week nine just finished. Generally before crashing for the night I try to get most of my number needs down on my spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is saved on an external hard drive that I swap back and forth between my computers. Some where along the line my spreadsheet and two pictures got corrupted.

So two months of keeping track of all the little things is gone. At least I have my post to look back on and recover some of the data. My transfers and donations in and out that I was tracking gone. I could dig through the wallet and get all the other pieces of data I was saving, but for now, I think I will just go for keeping the data I share on Hive in my Weekly/Monthly post.

So here are the numbers:

  • Current Rep & Current HP are show in green to indicate increase or red to indicate decline.
  • HIVE powered up is shown in green or red to show total powered up or red to show power down
  • Liquid HP is the change from the previous week
  • Curation APR3, this is from the People Behind LEO Finance via their https://hivestats.io/ site New on 5/13/2020 ²Curation Rewards are paid in Hive Power. ¹Current HP Average column is the increase in HP ¹Current HP is that on the day of posting 3Curation APR, is from just prior to posting

Post:

I was a bit more active in the posting department and was able to manage 5 post this week. We had some nice weather, and some nice drives, and the weather has greatly improved in Alaska. So two outdoor post, two challenge post, and of course my weekly post.

Replies and Comments:

I had a rather chatty week, and for some reason people were chatting back, go figure. I doubt that I will be able to keep that level up, but I do enjoy the engagement actions in comments. I have been pulled back into the world of Discord once again, and I will need to try and be more careful, I have already started to collect to many channels again, and will need to prune them back.

Current Reputation Level:

Still a slow growth process, but as I managed to get a few more post out this week, perhaps next week I will see a larger increase, but really the 0.04 to 0.05 growth level a week is fine by me.

Earnings:

For only having two post last week, I am very pleased with my growth in this area, and would like to thank all the people helping my account grow. I was able to convert some steem over the last two weeks, and had a pretty decent power up. I was pretty pleased when I hit the 4000 mark last week, and feel I am well on my way to the 5000 HP mark. hopefully Ionomy will take steem out of maintenance mode sometime next week and I can continue to convert.

Curation APR %

From our financial team guru's at Leo Finance. I like this tool. I am not sure how useful it really is to me, but it is nice when you load the page and then see a 9% APR, not so nice when you see the 6.6 APR, but it is still a bigger number than any banks. I almost hit 1 HP a day on curation,I think that is pretty good, I know a lot of people do much much better than I do, but as a vote as I find person, it really is not bad at all.

Conclusion

Data disaster aside it was not to bad of a week. I was able to show support to five different communities: * LEOFINANCE - They are doing some wonderful things for learning about and all things finance, not just the crypto world. https://leofinance.io/faq if you have questions about them. * HIVE.IO COMMUNITY - The community for all things Hive, this is one I feel is a must follow to keep up with the happenings around Hive. * WRITERS INC - Run by Michelle Gent, She was gone for a while and is now back, if you are interested in writing, editing and other things writers need, give her community a try. As I said she has been gone for awhile, so she is still getting back into the swing of things. * FEATHERED FRIENDS - Brought to you by Melinda010100, got bird pictures, bird stories bird paraphernalia,or if you just like looking at birds in peoples back yards, take a peek in the community. * PICTURE A DAY - Pretty much like the title says. For everyone for everyday photos, All levels welcome from the snap shot taker like me to the world renowned professional photographer.

I feel it is important to use the community system. I like a lot of different topics, while not everyone may enjoy bird pictures, or back yard photo shoots, or talking about money, the more communities that are used the more communities that will survive, and the greater our choices as consumers will be. Microsoft, and Apple are not the only operating system makers, Firefox and Chrome are not the only browsers, we need choice the more choices the better.
