I may have taken a break from posting, but I haven't stopped using faucets to get more STEEM and grow my SP.

In the week from December 15th, 2019 to December 21st, 2019, I made 15,090 satoshi from faucets (another new satoshi record). The week before, I was a bit disappointed that I had made more than 14k satoshi but the STEEM results were smaller than the other time I had made less satoshi. So, I simulated how much STEEM I'd get from BlockTrades, and the result was around 7.266 STEEM. My STEEM record was 13,560 satoshi converted to 8.079 STEEM, and I thought it wouldn't be worth it to trade my earnings for STEEM at that time. In hopes to get a little more out of my satoshi, I decided to wait until my earnings were worth more STEEM. This is the reason I didn't post weekly about my faucet earnings like usual, and I ended up using this opportunity to take a little break from posting on the STEEM platform, which also served as a holiday break.

Since then, the crypto prices have recovered a bit, with Bitcoin (satoshi) trading for more STEEM. A month later, I finally withdrew my accumulated earnings, which were 53,468 satoshi. Since it was over the Bitcoin withdraw limit, i traded it to STEEM from Bitcoin. According to my simulations, I'd get more STEEM for trading directly from satoshi than if I were to convert the earnings to Dash like I had been doing (the difference was more than 1 STEEM, so it's actually a lot). This amount was traded for 32.831 STEEM (Steemd transaction link).

Actually, only now I realized that CoinPot's minimum Bitcoin withdraw limit is 10,000 satoshi (I was confused and had thought it was 100,000)! And since I've been making around 12k satoshi every week, it might be better to trade satoshi for STEEM directly from now on, instead of converting to Dash.

Monthly Results

As January 12th, 2020 marked another month of faucet earnings, I'll make this into the monthly earnings post!

  • Week 1: I made 15,090 satoshi, and then began accumulating.
  • Week 2: I made 12,225 satoshi.
  • Week 3: my earnings were 12,814 satoshi.
  • Week 4: 13,339 satoshi.
  • Total faucet earnings in the month: 53,468 satoshi, traded for 32.831 STEEM.

Total earnings from other small investments (SP delegations to the Brazilians project + QuratorTokens):

  • Week 1: 1.030 STEEM from the delegation and 0.242 STEEM for holding QuratorTokens.
  • Week 2: 1.031 STEEM from the delegation and 0.227 STEEM from QuratorTokens.
  • Week 3: 1.031 STEEM from the delegation and 0.224 STEEM from QuratorTokens.
  • Week 4: 1.032 STEEM from the delegation and 0.250 STEEM from QuratorTokens.
  • Total from investments in the month: 5.067 STEEM.
  • Total (faucets + investments): 37.898 STEEM.

Total from all months so far (faucets only):

  • Month 1: 6.416 STEEM.
  • Month 2: 6.307 STEEM.
  • Month 3: 14.718 STEEM.
  • Month 4: 20.180 STEEM.
  • Month 5: 28.498 STEEM.
  • Month 6: 32.831 STEEM.
  • Total powered up only from faucets since this experiment's beginning: 108.950 STEEM.

Overall (faucets + delegations + QuratorTokens):

  • Month 1: 8.382 STEEM.
  • Month 2: 8.878 STEEM.
  • Month 3: 18.601 STEEM.
  • Month 4: 24.877 STEEM.
  • Month 5: 34.036 STEEM.
  • Month 6: 37.898 STEEM.
  • Total powered up from this experiment since its beginning: 132.672 STEEM.

It's interesting to see that the earnings keep increasing a bit every month. I didn't think this would happen this time, but it did. And I passed the mark of 100 SP powered up only from faucets! Nice way to start the year. To bigger faucet earnings in 2020!

If anyone else is interested in growing SP through faucet earnings and would like to use the faucet websites I'm using, here's a post with more details and tips, and here's a short interview with a few more tips.
