Has he gone mental?

So earlier this morning, @justinsunsteemit made a now deleted (edited) post that was basically a list of tyrannical demands for the witnesses to succumb to if they want to get his vote.

As a witness here on the blockchain, I feel that I should answer his questions. @c0ff33a and I have been witness partners here on the blockchain for over a year and a half now and have been supporting the community since before we became witnesses.

1 - Are you willing to believe the sanctity of private property or do you just want to take innocent people’s hard earned money under toxic “consensus”?

I do believe in the sanctity of private property. I do not wish to "take innocent people's hard earned money," nor do any of the other witnesses here on the chain. What I feel they wanted to do was preserve the chain from this "toxic consensus" that you have done in collusion with the exchanges. No funds were ever taken.

2 - Are you willing to shorten the SP power-down period to 3-7 days from the current period?

NO. This would be detrimental to the whole ecosystem. A reduction in powerdown times like that would cause a massive loss of faith in the future of the blockchain. It would allow accounts to abuse their voting powers, all the way down to zero, then fully power down their accounts and then sell everything or send the stake to another account to repeat the process.

Also, if you want to shorten the powerdown time to let the exchanges, off the hook for using powered up funds that were not necessarily theirs so that they could help you take over the blockchain, that is on you to fix with those exchanges. Not at the detriment of the blockchain.

3 - Are you willing to remove the down-voting policy of STEEM blockchain?

Why would anyone in their right mind think that is a good idea? Removing the communities ability to regulate the reward pool is a horrible idea. Without downvotes, abuse would be left to run rampant on the blockchain. We have seen multiple Steem Forks remove downvotes from their platforms and they have turned into nothing but cesspools of abuse and shit posts that go unchecked.

4 - Are you willing to introduce smart contracts into the STEEM block chain?

Sure

5 - Are you willing to keep a good relationship with prestigious exchanges and increase our STEEM token value or do you just want to fuck them?

We have had good relationships with exchanges for a while now, but after these recent events, it appears that some of these exchanges are the ones that are out to "fuck" their customers. Our witnesses and community knows how important building strong relationships with exchanges is, and we are excited at the prospect of these new exchanges that have brought Steem on and pledged to not take part in a hostile takeover of our blockchain.

6 - Are you willing to protect the rights of the community members or do you just want to hurt and destroy those you disagree with?

There are disagreements within the Steem Community all the time and there has been from Day 1. That was why the consensus was formed, so the witnesses could all come together to work together for what is best for the community and implement those changes.

What you have done, was create 20 fake witnesses, collude with exchanges, and then vote yourself in as a Supreme Leader of the blockchain to impose your will on the whole community.

Your actions go against what you are asking of the witnesses that you are trying to get answers from.

7 - Are you willing to support Steemit, Inc. in accomplishing their job to increase our token value or do you just want to stab them in the back for your own interest?

Of course I am. I have been since day one. The question is, are you? Since you came to our blockchain, the members of Steemit Inc have resigned. It sounds like you are the one stabbing people in the back for your own self interest by basically disregarding everything that those former members of Steemit Inc have been working towards the past few years.

8 - Are you willing to increase STEEM token value that benefits the whole community or do you only care about your own interest and don’t give a fuck about the real community?

This is a rather odd question to be asking people that have been here for years doing work here on the blockchain. Especially when you have stated multiple times that you are here to increase the value of Steem so that you can just sell it. We have been here through the ups and downs and we are still here.

The fact that you purchased such a large stake OFF THE EXCHANGES and at a massive discount, does not help the value of Steem at all. If you had purchased your stake from actual exchanges, it would have benefited Steem, the community, development and shown that you truly believe in what you have purchased.

9 - Are you willing to welcome new investors in the future and include everyone into our community or do you just want to fuck those new investors, freeze their investment and kick them out?

Of course I would welcome new investors into the community. No I would not vote to freeze their investments or kick them out either, because their stake would have been purchased from exchanges and not a backdoor deal of stake that was ninja mined and had other arrangements on the use of it.

10 - Are you willing to always stick to the truth or will you just spread rumors to generate misunderstandings in the community and poison our community culture?

I would do my best to stay informed to know what the truth is and make sure that I am always informing people of the truth, and if I am wrong about something and get called out, I would own it.

11 - Do you like Justin Sun or you just want to fuck him?

So far, my opinion of you is pretty low. I have not seen anything you have done to be in the interest of the Steem Community. All I have seen so far is you trying to impose your will on the community.

We have shown you that we are a strong Steem Community and we will not bend over it. I would suggest that you take some time to educate yourself on what you have purchased and what you have gotten yourself into.

We are a passionate community that has been through more than you think we have and we will protect our blockchain at all costs. I want to thank all of the real top 20 witnesses of our blockchain for the work that they have been doing.

I want to thank everyone in the community as well for stepping up and getting out and voting for our witnesses so that we can get control of the chain back. We aren't going to let Justin turn Steem into just another shit coin.
