Exactly One Week to Go Until "HF21" Hits
Almost sounds like a nuclear countdown, right? Although I'm hoping not with the same devasating results. But yeah, my new thoughts on this divisive change in the economic model of the platform? Neutral, I guess. I mean, it's not like going against it at this point is gonna help none. You're either in camp positive or negative right now and already have a firm bias already in place.
I must admit, I was pretty "anti" this new direction for STEEM when I first heard about it. But you know what? It just doesn't matter. Regardless of how we feel about it, the only meaningful thing we can do is modify our own behavours on the platform thereafter. How the rest will pan out, will have to be seen. After all, the human element in any project across the board is the most volatile factor and therefore the most unpredicable one too. We shall just have to wait and see.
But I guess the real nerves will kick in maybe a day or so before the actual HF is due. I've been a part of this place for well over three years so you can bet I'll be feeling it bad. What about you guys? What are your thoughts on the impending fork? That's kinda the main objective of this post. To ascertain how you guys view HF21 now that it's literally round the corner.
Although one thing is for sure. This ain't the first and most certainly won't be the last big drama the STEEM blockchain will be involved in. If you keep your expectations realistic, you won't panic or worry when the inevitable arrives, whatever it may be. I gotta keep pinching myself as a reminder that we're still at the very early stages in the evolution of STEEM. Just gotta maintain perspective and hopefully everything will work out just fine.
