Have you been posting more lately?

I've noticed that I am more motivated to post more frequently. For the longest time I did pretty much once a day, with few exceptions. Then I was struggling to achieve even once a week and was mostly doing 2-3 posts per month. That's when I was moving around quite a bit.

But even once I became fairly settled in my new home, I still didn't feel like posting much.

Enter Steem Engine and their many tokens!

Now I can't say I entirely understand the utility of most of the tokens, other than the ability to award them to others with my upvotes, which is nice for something that was airdropped to me. And I suppose they'll have value for selling someday, though I'm just staking them now so that I can award those upvotes to content I like. I'm not thinking I would buy tokens to be able to upvote people more, or in the hope of price appreciation. I think the coins need to come up with some reason for people to buy other than just those two to be a good investment and see price appreciation.

In any case, I think I'm posting more often so that I earn more coins, which I then stake, increasing the power of my upvote even more. So even if there isn't enough motivation to trade STEEM for any tokens, there is to trade time and creativity for them.

Plus Upcoming Hardfork

Also, knowing the hard fork is coming up that will shift awards more from authors to curators makes me want to build up more STEEM before that change. I'll have to post twice as much for the same STEEM in the future, so might as well get posting now. Curation I can benefit from doing more of later, but scant time should go toward posting right now.

Has either of these factors influenced how often you're posting?
