Steem evolution

Apart Steem SMT there are 2 interesting discussions in Steemit GitHub.

First discussions is about SBD (https://github.com/steemit/steem/issues/3554).

The question is, is SBD dead? The discussion is to remove SBD from Steem Blockchain but it seems if anything is done about it will be remove SBD from reward pool.

Second discussion is about Delegated Proof of Stake (https://github.com/steemit/steem/issues/3542).

As you know Steem consensus system is DPoS, it means top 20 witness are the Steem block productors (miners). Discussion is if Steem Blockchain consensus should change to Proof of Stake, which means that any user with a node server will produce blocks and have the power to decide the future of the Blockchain. If any change happens about this discussion will be change top witness from 20 to 100.
