Give Crypto YouTubers the Gift of Steem this Christmas

Have you heard? There is an uproar on crypto-twitter.

Many prominent YouTubers in the crypto space have been censored in what looks like a concerted attack by YouTube to limit their impact. Videos have been blocked with vague and poorly justified reasons, often citing 'terms of condition' that haven't been broken.

This is a blow to the crypto space in general, but it presents a fantastic opportunity for steem and everyone who is invested in this platform.

What can you do?

There are two ways we can all encourage these YouTubers to join either 3Speak or Dtube.

Firstly, visit their tweets and show your support while promoting 3Speak, Dtube or both as alternatives to YouTube and its draconian policies. I will be listing all the YouTubers effected below, with some links to tweets I have replied to.

Secondly, and this is one for the larger stakeholders of the platform... please offer these content creators as many free accounts as you can spare, both for them, and their followers. The biggest barrier we currently face in enticing them over here is the cost of effectively setting up on steem. I would therefor implore the larger stakeholders to consider delegating small amounts of SP to these content creators and their followers to ensure they can interact with each other.

These YouTubers will not migrate here unless they can bring their followers with them.

The value of onboarding massive amounts of content consumers to steem cannot be undervalued.

For example, @IvanOnTech has 36.3k followers on twitter and 211k followers on YouTube.

If even half of these people were onboarded to steem the network effect would be immense, both on price and community engagement.

Please consider taking some time out of your Christmas celebrations to reply to at least one of these YouTubers on twitter promoting our blockchain as a place they can call home, where they won't be censored.

Please include the hashtags #steem and #youtubeisover as well as tagging @3speakonline for a chance at large upvotes from @theycallmedan on his promotional post #youtubeisover Twitter Campaign.
