Breaking News: STEEM Softfork 22.2 freezes pre-mined STEEM assets and voting rights of Steemit Inc. after TRON acquisition. Bold move by the Steem community 👍

Die Ereignisse überschlagen sich bei Steem gerade wieder. Gestern gab es einen Softfork der Steem-Blockchain auf die Version 0.22.2, der von den meisten Top 20 Witnesses außer @timcliff und @anyx mitgetragen wird. Update: @anyx unterstützt jetzt auch den Softfork.

Der Fork friert jetzt im Wesentlichen die Steem Power aller Steemit Inc. assozierten Accounts ein und deaktiviert die Möglichkeit von Steemit Inc. zu voten, Steem Proposals zu unterstützen oder Funds zu transferieren.

Das ist ein ziemlich starkes Zeichen der Steem-Community, dass wir mit dem ursprünglich kurz nach der Steemit-Übernahme kommunizierten Plan nicht einverstanden sind, dass Steem auf Tron migriert wird.

Die letzten vier Jahre gab es auch ein ungeschriebenes Gesetz, dass Steemit Inc. ihren pre-mined Stake nicht zum Voten und zum Beinflussen der Witness-Entscheidungen nutzt, was eigentlich fair ist und von der Community auch so erwartet wird.

Da es bei der Übernahme von Tron zu Irritationen in der Steem Community gekommen ist, finde ich diesen harten Schritt schon gerechtfertigt und ich unterstütze diesen auch, um zu verdeutlichen, dass Steemit nicht Steem ist und mit den pre-mined (ninja-mined) Token verantwortungsbewusst umgegangen werden soll.

Auf der anderen Seite bringt @timcliff auch ein wichtiges Argument in die Diskussion: Durch die Übernahme von Steemit Inc. durch Tron, hat Tron die Tokens auf legitime Art und Weise übernommen und den ninja-mined Tokens damit das erste Mal auch einen ökonomischen Wert gegeben.

Diese Aktion der Einfrierung sollte als temporäres Warnsignal gesehen werden und ich denke, wir sollten uns den Weg einer gemeinsamen gewinnbringenden Partnerschaft mit Steemit Inc, Tron und Steem nicht versperren, sondern an einer Win/Win-Situation für alle Stakeholder arbeiten, die durchaus möglich ist.

Mittlerweile gibt es auch schon eine Reaktion und einen offenen Brief von @justinsunsteemit, der zu begrüßen ist und in die richtige Richtung geht.

Was denkt ihr über die Einfrierung der Assets sämtlicher Steemit Inc. Accounts? Hätte das schon viel früher passieren müssen oder ist es eine zu extreme Maßnahme?

Breaking news regarding the protection of the Steem blockchain. Yesterday there was a softfork of the Steem blockchain to version 0.22.2, which is supported by most of the Top 20 Witnesses except @timcliff and @anyx. Update: @anyx now also supports the softfork.

The fork now essentially freezes the Steem Power of all Steemit Inc. associated accounts and disables the ability of Steemit Inc. to vote, support Steem Proposals or transfer funds.

This is a pretty strong signal from the Steem community that we disagree with the plan originally communicated shortly after the Steemit acquisition that the Steem token would be migrated to Tron.

For the last four years there has also been an unwritten law that Steemit Inc. will not use their pre-mined stake to vote and influence Witness decisions, which is fair and was expected by the community.

Since the takeover of Tron caused some irritation in the Steem community, I think this hard step is justified and I support it to make clear that Steemit is not Steem and that the pre-mined (ninja-mined) tokens should be handled responsibly.

On the other hand, @timcliff also brings an important argument into the discussion: Through the takeover of Steemit Inc. by Tron, Tron has taken over the tokens in a legitimate way and has thus given the ninja-mined tokens an economic value for the first time.

This action of freezing should be seen as a temporary warning signal and I think we should not block the path of a mutual profitable partnership with Steemit Inc, Tron and Steem, but work on a win-win situation for all stakeholders that is quite possible in my opinion.

Meanwhile there is already a reaction and an open letter from @justinsunsteemit which is welcome and goes in the right direction.
