Recently @abh12345 published statistics showing a number of interesting results about Venezuelan users of the Steem block chain.

The study shows that 3300 unique accounts have exchanged steem for bolivars. On the other hand, the steem and sbd sold by these users are shown.

On this occasion, I would like to reflect on the data mentioned above and, from my point of view, set out some possible causes of the results I have referred to you.

In general, the Venezuelan user, moreover, the Latino user concentrates on making a publication that is eye-catching, perhaps spending more time on the presentation than on the content itself.

I believe that new users receive little information as well as being superficial. It is based on the number of publications made more on how eye-catching they may be.

The almost total sale of steem obtained is due to 2 causes.

• The economic difficulties affecting the country's citizens cause many users to supplement their income with the sale of steem obtained. In other words, the chain of blocks serves as support for many Venezuelan households.

• The understanding of the inner workings of steem is limited. Very few users understand that Steemit is a social network, so it must interact. Moreover, the meaning of giving value to steem has not been assimilated.
