Writing To Earn A Living Is Possible On STEEM Platform
Can we earn a living by just writing on steem platform?
The answer to that is not really and it depends on many factors like your time of exposure that you had in the steem community, how you learn to socialize, make content that catches the interest of others, techniques on how to gain support, etc. and of course your love for just writing.
I myself just loves to write, that is what I do and in the events like this where I could not sleep I just write my thoughts so that at least my time is not wasted.
In a way I can say that I am earning a living from steem, heck the money that I had earned here is what I am using to purchase my expensive medicines (Cinacalcet and Renvela) with the former just a few people can afford because of its forbidding price while the latter is also expensive, makes my meals more expensive as I have to take it for every meal that I eat.
But I earn my money due to some friends in the background that is continuing to support me. Just imagine if I am not sick and does not need any of these medications not to mention the bills that I have to pay at the dialysis center for every visit there, I just don't think that I would have not earned like what I am earning daily if that will be the case.
But maybe I can since for one thing I love socializing and writing and the #steem platform is the best place for that. If you see me work here everyday I am so persistent in my "work" because I am determined to achieve my goals although it is proving to be slow at least I still see some hope out there where I can make my medical goals a reality.
Src Anyway blogging is just one way to earn money on steem, there are dapps out there like the #splinterlands Website Here where you can play a digital card game which also had a lot of options like renting cards so you can profit out from it. Again you just have the passion in playing that game for you to be able to earn.
Steem however is a good gateway to cryptocurrency realm, you write or play in this platform, you earn some steem or steem backed dollars (SBD) and you sell if for BTC or other cryptos and there you go, you are no longer a "No coiner." After that you can be a day trader or professional crypto trader, investor/speculator and gain extra money depending on your learned and acquired skills.
Anyway still there is no definitive answer if you can earn a living by just writing here at steem, it all depends on myriad of factors as some had been here for quite a bit of time but they are just earning pennies. But the secret lies about sharing what are you passionate about in your life and writing about it, being consistent and persistent while of course making friends with like-minded people plus some other factors that I do not know about anymore, it is all up to you on how you will be your own captain of your ship in the steem platform.
