A few days ago everyone was in high spirits as BTC was pumping and everything was green, now there seems to be some doom and gloom as BTC took a hit and most alt coins are down 10% or more. Times like this it seems that most people forget that the market fluctuates up and down. When they see red, they freak out and take off running.

When I see red in the markets, I see it as a great buying opportunity because as the great Sir Isaac Newton said "What goes down, must come up." When he said that, he was surely talking about the crypto markets. He really was a genius and ahead of his time.

Buy Low, Sell High

Everyone knows that saying, but when it comes down to it, so many people actually have a problem actually doing it. Don't be like this people in this video:

One of the things I have started doing is taking profits from as prices spike. Especially if there is a massive spike in price, because slow and steady growth is the truly sustainable growth. When I see a price spike, I take around 50% or so and put it into a stable coin and wait for the dip into the red, then I buy back in at the lower price. This strategy has been working very well for me and I have been able to continue building my portfolio with minimal contributions of fiat now.

Steem is a great price

Earlier this morning I bought 400 Steem and powered it up. As many of you know, Steem is one of the few cryptos out there that has so much utility to it and can be used in so many different ways to have it continue to earn and gain value. Now with tribes and the different tokens associated with them, that just adds another layer of value to Steem and a way to earn, just showing the true power of the Steem ecosystem.

With tribes there is a place for everyone here on Steemit. PAL is an amazing community for everyone, which is a great way for newcomers to learn about Steem and interact with other members of the platform. SteemLeo is a community focused on investing and crypto talk. It is a great tool for members that are interested in learning crypto or have investment questions.
