Bluzelle offers the technological solution to address the serious problem of caching content that will improve the gaming experience and even allow users to earn cryptocurrencies along the way.

Bluzelle enters the video game scene

The vast majority of online multiplayer games use the "caching content" function, which results in graphics optimization and data usage. Most game developers try to use Azure and Amazon Web to ensure a perfect gaming experience, since these providers are considered the most reliable in the industry.

Soon they might encounter a tough rival with Bluzelle, a new startup that has developed a decentralized protocol based on the BitTorrent model, which also facilitates the active use of native cryptocurrencies. The ultimate goal of Bluzelle is to expand its network of caching servers globally.

Definitely faster and more affordable

Pavel Bains, co-founder of Bluzelle, did not miss the opportunity to show off the speed characteristics of the protocol in a real-time gaming session. It turned out that Bluzelle was 20% faster than its closest rival, Redis.

Baines commented that Buzelle has been conceived as an innovative database software with a caching protocol developed only as a byproduct, which can still completely change the gaming industry. The software, by the way, is still under development.

Latency is the factor on which both Bluzelle and Redis put the greatest emphasis. The inherent problems of the most famous game providers, such as Electronic Arts and DICE, are that they depend heavily on their numerous data centers scattered throughout the world. However, they do not take into account the activity peaks of users in some regions that were not a priority for these companies, which results in their inability to meet demand. Thanks to Bluzelle, providers will no longer have to depend on the location of the data centers. In fact, they will hardly need roomy centers due to the protocol's ability to cache content efficiently.

Bluzelle can offer a passive income stream to cryptocurrency fans

Bluzelle allows virtually any user who has a stable broadband connection and powerful enough hardware to run a Bluzelle node, thus establishing a cryptocurrency flow. As with Filecoin or Storj, to operate this node, the user needs to have enough storage space and considerable bandwidth.

Bains said that almost all contemporary applications are based on obsolete technology with complicated configuration and a dependency on large data centers. However, the main problem, he explained, lies in the fact that these applications are unable to handle the avalanches of data flow generated by artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR). The solution lies in the creation of an effective technology, both technologically and economically, with caching technology that meets the needs of end users. With Bluzelle, current problems related to user location would be eliminated.

Each node in the Bluzelle network will be responsible for the provision of caching services. In return, the node owner will be rewarded with BLZ tokens. Recipients of such services will not have to pay Bluzelle in cryptocurrencies, as the company will accept fiat currencies that will later be converted to native tokens.

Bluzelle is running a beta version of its network, operating most of the nodes by itself to ensure the profitability of the nodes that will be managed by future users. The price of a BLZ token is set at about $ 0.06 and the global token offer is limited to 500 million. Bains also hinted at the upcoming Unity integration, which should improve its utility features and increase the demand for tokens.
