So we all know that #hf21 is now implemented and running? How this will effect @ssg-community and its members is anyone's guess.... For now, I'll just keep an eye on things and see how they play out.

Let's get down to why you're all here!! You need something to read to send you off to sleep

What's this?? We have a new snazzy blue line?? Ohh that's just the downvote power... @ssg-community will be staying away from all that business, so don't worry about that.

Voting weight - 150k + VP - a little on the high side.

@ssg-community wallet still looking alright. Dropping a bit on the liquid steem part, but I'll just increase the powerdown threshold to compensate.

For now, as I said earlier, I'll keep an eye on things and see how they play out. I'm hoping that those major changes will not effect the long term plans we have for the #steemsilvergold community.

With the uncertainty of what #hf21 will bring, the one thing we know is that the liquid donation to Precious for September will remain at 2% of delegation.

We have 5 basic delegation levels:

2500 - gold membership 1000 - silver membership 500 - copper membership 250 - bronze membership 100 - lead membership

These equate to upvotes equal to: 50%, 20.6%, 10.8%, 5.9% & 2.96%.

To work out the value of an upvote at any given time use http://steemnow.com/@ssg-community

Because not all members have the steempower to delegate, @ssg-community does offer a donation service where members of #steemsilvergold can contribute in the form of liquid steem payments.

For the 11th month now, ssg-community can afford to subsidies the steem payments and keep them once more at 2%.

So, once again :

2500sp = 50steem 1000sp = 20steem 500 sp =10steem 250 SP =5steem 100 sp =2steem.

**to calculate sp to steem ratio, simply multiply the sp you're thinking of by 0.02 to work out steem payment.

We quickly crunched some numbers and even with the new 50/50 split in post payouts the 2% donation still offers a ROI.

What we didn't want to do was lower the donation % and then realise the expected increase in curation rewards doesn't cover any reduction we make. So once next months numbers are in we will most likely be LOWERING the liquid donation number and expect the increase in curation to cover the short fall. Sorry guys, but that's what I think is best I hope that's OK??

I am @welshstacker and Im still on the fence with this hard fork malarkey!!
