I just received a token of spending voucher from our government. What should I do with it?
Well, well, well. I think all Malaysian might be in joy after receiving a token of spending voucher given by our government.
To be exact, a token of $11 for us to spend! Credited into the selected e-wallet and I got mine yesterday. ePenjana is basically an initiative implemented by our Malaysian government to boost spending among the people since many businesses were impacted by the pandemic. Thus, ePenjana aimed to raise the spending activity in order to assist these affected businesses.
To be honest, I feel this is a noble idea considering maybe the people don't spend as much as before as they are some have lost source of income. To some, the amount might be small, to others, it is worth a dime. As far a small voice telling me to be sceptical about the token, but I feel grateful.
What was the first thing I did with it?
Well, I bought some portion of gold. Not much but it was worth the extra money is given. I was thinking to buy some more, but we'll see.
It did feel good buying some gold as the price is soaring at the moment and some say the rally will continue to go up for a couple of months.
