In this video, we’ll cover downloading Steem keychain, linking it with your Steem account information and then using it on various websites for important actions like logging in, sending STEEM and even managing token balances through custom JSON operations.
Steem Keychain is a browser extension that helps manage your Steem account & private keys. It allows users to easily and securely connect to supported websites that leverage the free and instantaneous transactions that are processed on the Steem blockchain. If you are familiar with Ethereum, then Steem Keychain is similar to the Metamask extension on the Ethereum blockchain.
