Free Toys is JUST What the Dr. Ordered!!!

I’m a Coca-Cola guy down to the core of my being. It’s by far my biggest and most harmful vice that I partake in. So it pains me to be pimping another soda product. I feel...dirty and gross and I really want to chug the fuck out of a Coke right now just to prove my loyalty. But Coke is NOT giving away free ugly toys. Dr. Pepper is...and that my lovely’s...is why we are here today.

Ya see...Dr. Pepper is holding a truly stupid promotion right now. I’m not fully understanding why they constructed it the way they did but what the fuck do I know?!? I sell Spider-Man dolls for a living.

The simple gist of it is this...buy 3 bottles of 20 oz. Dr. Pepper’s, snap a photo of the 3 UPC’s, and receive a Funko Pop of the mascot...Lil Sweet. That’s basically it.

Starting February 1st 2020 until March 31st 2020, while supplies last, fans that purchase any three Dr Pepper 20 oz. bottles will receive the Lil’ Sweet Funko by texting ‘DR PEPPER’ to 21688 and following the prompts.

I went today to my local convenience store (Wawa) and bought 3 bottles. Yes, from the looks of it you can literally walk into, snap the photo there without purchasing, and leave like the clever little scum bucket you are. I decided to support the company though and actually abide by their terms unlike lots of others on the Funko groups that I’m seeing posting about it. I figure if it’s a success, maybe we will see this type of promotion again. Wishful thinking I’m sure...

But that’s it. From what I’ve read, you text the number, follow the prompts, snap the pic, and wait until they send more information on how to redeem. From the rumblings I’ve heard, it’ll be free shipping. Not sure if this is only valid in the US or not but I’m sure it will be. I’m currently waiting for them to send me the rest of the info which said it could take up to 48 hours. I did it a few hours ago as it just went live today.

I’m sure in the terms of service it states that they will sell the info and all that shit but whatever. I’m sure that’s how they will make $$$ off this because if folks can redeem and have it shipped with no real actual purchase...that just seems like a dumb promotion. I just find it off that no proof of receipt is needed. Initially I thought maybe you would redeem a code under the cap or something but nah. Just a photo of the generic UPC.

Their stupidity is your gain!!! Limited to one per phone number so be sure to have all your kids, grandparents, mailman, and your real doctor participate!!!

Currently this Pop of American Idol’s 1st season runner up Justin, is fetching around $50 clams...but I’d expect that to drop as they actually get into folks hands and they start undercutting each other. Still, not bad for a freebie.

I’d also expect most people to not even know that Lil Sweet was Justin from American Idol because I only just found out myself like a week ago and I kinda wanna throat punch myself for now having that knowledge. I’m just glad he’s not earning a living by becoming a Lot Lizard or something and has a gig that I’m sure pays well. I mean...the fucking guy has his own Pop. He’s made it!!!!

So go rush and secure yours!!! Flip it on eBay!!! But sone tasty Steem with those funds and power dem bitches up to help grow this joint!!!
