Since the partnership between Tron and Steemit was announced on Friday I have been keen to learn more about Tron.

I have been particularly interested to find out about the people of Tron - the Tron Community.

As Tron does not have a social site like steemit.com there is not obvious starting place.

So I took to Twitter and asked some 'Tronics'.

I quickly found some very helpful Tron people there who pointed me in the right direction...

The TRON Foundation

The TRON Foundation is the official body that oversees TRON. It is headed by CEO Justin Sun.

Super Representatives

As part of the governance structure TRON has Super Representatives (SR) who have a similar role to Steem Witnesses.

There are currently around 200 SR candidates. Every 6 hours a new election starts and the 27 SR candidates with the most votes officially represent the Tron Protocol. These 27 hold the title of Super Representative.

The list of the current Super Representatives can be found on TronScan...

The voting is done by the holders of the TRX token. The TRX has to 'frozen' as Tron Power to qualify for voting.

There is an easy to follow guide to the voting procedure on the MrsCryptoFreak.com website...

Super Representatives earn 16 TRX for every block generation which they can use to fund development and to reward their community.

A full explanation of the Election and Reward systems can be found here...

Different SR Candidates offer different levels of reward to their supporters.

One place to find what those rewards are is on Token/Goodies...

TRON Developers

At the heart of TRON are the developers. As well as the large number of developers working for the TRON Foundation (total staff c 500), there is a significant ecosystem of independent developers working on the many TRON based dApps.

The TRON Foundation runs the TRON Developer Hub which is the primary source of all technical information for developing for TRON...

The GitHub for the TRON Protocol is here...

There is a Discord server for TRON Developers and SRs...

It appears to be quite different to most Steem related Discords - restricted to development and SR 'business' rather than more general discussion.

There is also a TRON Core Dev Community group on Telegram...

There are regular live meetings for the TRON Core Devs that can be viewed on YouTube. These appear to be monthly. This is the recording of this month's meeting...

TRON at large

For more general TRON information and discussion there is a TRON Telegram group. This appears to be very active with over 87,500 members...

I learnt from Twitter that the people of the TRON community generally refer to themselves as TRONICS.

There is a TRONICS Community forum, although I understand this is new and not yet that active...

TRON on Twitter

There are a considerable number of active TRON people on Twitter.

The main Twitter accounts I have found so far include...

I have interacted with a number of TRON people on Twitter and they have all been very helpful and keen to learn more about Steem. A few that I have to hand include...

TRON on Steem

There are a growing number of TRON people from Twitter that have come across to try out Steem.

A few that I have spotted so far include...

This is what I have found so far.

I am sure I have missed much and many.

Please do comment below with any relevant information, links, groups and people that should be added.
