It seems that the crypto world is celebrating today 13 years since Satoshi Nakamoto has released the white paper for Bitcoin and for all of us that are into blockchain, that means a lot. It's even irrelevant to try and convince anyone here on why blockchain is so vital for humanity right now.

I believe that it will be recognized as the technology of the millennia sooner than we might expect.

I first heard of this tech, though, in the summer of 2017, from a friend of mine. He was into Bitcoin back then and once I repatriate myself to Romania he opened the topic one day and caught my whole attention with it. I actually got my first crypto from him, as a gift, some GOLEM tokens, and that's when I first tested out blockchain.

It was amazing and mind boggling at the same time... The idea of being able to send some internet money, that I wasn't actually valuing much at that time, from one user to another without any third party got me into crypto actually. The idea of somehow circumventing the establishment by using this tech was so appealing.

I don't think I have spent one day ever since without reading anything crypto related or keeping my eyes on the market.

A few months after, I bought my first cryptos, and started a hell of a journey in this crypto world. Since 2018, when I joined Hive(former Steem) I am using it on a daily basis. This technology is life changing for me and I can only imagine in what ways it will impact humanity further down the road.

Highly grateful for Satoshi's work and definitely celebrating the day with the crypto community. What about you, when did you first used blockchain technology and how was your experience?

Thanks for attention, Adrian
