#DeleteFacebook - Decentralization of everything is the only way out of this constricting, corrupt and enslaving world wide web that humanity is currently living in

I have been living without a Facebook account for almost four years. That much has passed since I ditched the blue pill and I'm happy I've done that. For all the no coiners saying Bitcoin has no intrinsic value, I'd ask them what intrinsic value does Facebook has? I'll tell you... none.

It's supposed to bring people together, to keep families and relatives in touch, but it's actually doing the opposite. Facebook is no more but a sort of world's data base where the majority of the subjects upload their so called ID pics, share their current locations all the time, offer too much personal details to the damn app and are being treated as mere numbers created for profits and not to profit them.

I've had quite a few posts on my blog regarding the harmful effects this app can have on one's physical and mental health and why I would #deletefacebook with no second thoughts. It's just pure garbage. If you want to keep in touch with your family call them, you can do that with video calls as well by using all sort of messaging apps so you don't really need an app that tracks the shit out of you to stay in touch with your loved ones.

The absurdity of this network and so called social media app was to be seen today when they censored their own page in Australia. Good job Facebook, you just proved you don't even trust yourself. The spider social media web is famous, along with twitter and reddit, when it comes to censorship and basically controlling people's accounts, minds, thoughts, and freedom of speech.

The millions around the world seem to have nothing against that. They're fine in their warm virtual dinning room, updating the data base with what's new in their lives, reading what the spider is serving them and basically living on life principles that they don't really own. It's amazing once you realize how much brainwashing is taking place trough this free app.

They can't say they don't have alternatives though, because us, the ones virtually living on this blockchain know damn right they do, just that they don't bother to search for them. The tamed humanity is fine with living under a central authority dictating them what to think, say, act and believe in. Look how they've been brainwashed with this pandemic through media and social media.

Otherwise they wouldn't use the damn app anymore. I bought myself a new smartphone a few days ago and as soon as I opened it I immediately deleted the Facebook app. If Chamath who's played an important role for Facebook a few years back, and knows the insides of this social media platform, said he's not allowing his kids to use it why would you allow yourself do that.

Humanity seems to be gradually dividing, and one slice of a division is in continual search for alternatives to main factors influencing our lives. Ever since Bitcoin and blockchain technology came out a new path has opened. People have now an option to send wealth/value over seas without the need of a central authority, they can store their views and personal content on a decentralized blockchain with no authority even having the chance to affect all of that in any way and they can have access to decentralized economies as well.

Whole economies are being built on decentralized ecosystems such as Ethereum for example, Hive being a next alternative for it, and we can't say we don't have options anymore. The other day someone was asking me what are you doing all day in front of a laptop because you don't have Facebook? Well, I found a better alternative I said, one that I've been sharing with many around me, with no action from any of them, an alternative that pays way better my time and energy invested in it and offers true ownership over one's digital life.

Somehow Facebook, as a social media platform, and Hive can be called as game fields for our digital lives. We no longer live just in the physical world and that's a two edged sword, but it's highly impactful on each and every individual what ground's choosing for living his digital life.

However, I see quite often that people are too tired in fighting over their rights anymore. In choosing crypto over fiat, using Hive over Facebook, Leofinance over some idiotic finance news outlet. Yes, I still stand by my view that Leofinance has the ability to replace many of the current crypto news outlets that we have. I'm still dazzled seeing such outlets dedicating pages and pages to all sort of CBDCs announced as being crypto related news.

CBDCs are not crypto, not designed on the same core concepts of crypto, will never act as a crypto and are not supposed to be treated as crypto. Period. As long as you have a central authority with access to a switch button and absolute power, no matter the situation, you're still at the hand of that authority. I however, and you as well, aren't at the hand of any authority on Hive. No one can shut us down no matter what we write about or being vocal about.

Decentralized systems are definitely the future for woken individuals that are eager to once and for all get their hands over true ownership of their data and personal lives. We're still early in this blockchain revolution, but this seems to be the way out of modern slavery. I don't know about you, but I have deleted my facebook account almost for years ago, and still have the option to share personal events with people around the world I have never met, pretty much the same as I did with Facebook and even monetize that.

#deletefacebook and never look back. Be grateful for Hive and what's to be built upon Hive. Screw these bastards trying to control every inch of our personal lives and embrace decentralization with open arms. So far it has proved to be a better alternative to whatever it intended to disrupt and I don't have any doubt it will do the same with many more to come. Tokenization of everything is a concept that I believed in, ever since I become active on this blockchain, and have been getting away from centralized systems ever since.

There's a sense of frustration and anger with a mix of fulfillment seeing that the inevitable is deemed to happen, that this post is expressing, but that's how I feel and I'm happy to be able to express myself free on a decentralize blockchain and to be living free from facebook for so many years. Decentralization of everything is the only way out of this constricting, corrupt and enslaving world wide web that humanity is currently living in.
