Looks like ETH is doing way much more, from the practical stand point, than BTC actually is. Still... it's BTC that those financial institutions are rushing into. Probably something about that 21 million max supply and the fact that it was the first crypto. Same as with gold, you can't practically do much with it as you can do with other metals, but it's still the most precious.
