I don't know exactly how long it will take the Leofinance team to finally launch the long awaited microblogging app it's been teasing us for a while, but when it does that I know I'm gonna be all over it. I have already transferred most of my engagement from Leofinance to noise.cash and it's time to get it back.

I am still blogging in here, as you can see for yourselves, and I will probably do that for as long as time and life circumstances will allow it, but being out and around you definitely need a microblogging app. Shitposting has its fragrance, same as NFTs do, and this type of content sees a lot of demand for the past decade or so from people all over the world.

Blogging is for bloggers and their consumers and it will probably die hard, but living in the century of speed we need the means to keep up with that online. I have been calling for a dedicated app for shitposting for quite a while and now it's just around the corner. Thumbs up for Khal and the team. They deserve a big cake and a huge champagne.

Why I'm so hyped about it is because this app's gonna be a one of a kind. The way I see it, Facebook is mostly dedicated to sharing moments of one's life, keeping in touch with family and friends, Instagram is a photography/show off platform while twitter is where you get the pulse of the world from.

Each and one of them has somehow its purpose in the online space and their users have also kind of divided over time. Project Blank is gonna bring them together, as I see this app incorporating the core values of all of them above. I imagine this app to be the blockchain version of noise.cash, although I believe it will be better.

At first I thought that this project will be dedicated to crypto microblogging content, but after I read one post from @taskmaster4450 I realized there's no fence when it comes to the types of content anyone can share on it. I see a lot of photographers, or call them the instagramers of Hive, migrating from Peakd and other user interfaces to the new app from Leofinance.

I also can't wait to share my tweet types of posts with all sort of news and important events from the crypto space, as I am more in touch with such topics lately than the photography ones I used to be so attached to. Will share a photo or two once in a while as well, but it's crypto that I'm mostly tempted to post about.

If the app will allow creating groups, like a sort of tribes inside tribes, then you already have a way better alternative to Facebook and you have that built on a decentralized blockchain.

We already know about the major issues of these mainstream social media apps, in regards of censorship, ownership over one's personal data and freedom of speech. That's already solved by Hive for years. The only issue about it was the blogging mentality that hasn't encouraged its users too much towards microblogging. That's about to change and it will be a game changer.

Taking into account how easily it is now to create a Hive account, and the option of getting crypto as rewards for one's content, I see no reason why tens of thousands of users would flood the new app in the next few months, up to a year. As Bitcoin and crypto in general are getting more and more mainstream, blockchain based social medias will gain more exposure as well and the demand will be huge.

I'm probably over hyped, but I do believe that this app will be ground breaking and many others coming afterwards will try and replicate it. The way I see it noise.cash will be just a drop in the bucket when it comes to fundamentals and tokenomics. Yes, it's nice to use it, definitely a better alternative than the mainstream ones, but the rewards system model and sustainability combined with its centralized nature will see a lot of its users switch to the Leofinance one once it's out.

Anyway, I hope to test this thing out in a week or so, I am sure it will blow my expectations away, and addictive will be a weak adjective to use. That coming from a person that is addicted to internet use and doesn't have facebook and instagram for four years. It's exactly what I was lacking for all these years. My twitter usage will suffer as well, for sure... Anyway, hope you're having a fantastic Saturday and see you to the next one.

Thanks for attention, Adrian
