Travala - Founder NFT

Hi,

a couple of weeks ago, I was writing about a new smart tier on Travala, the travel booking platform from Binance.

The new smart tier on Travala is called Smart Diamond and can be activated only with the acquisition of one of the Founders NFT, the first NFT brought by Travala.

The benefits are quite appealing, especially for frequent travellers, as Travala is not the cheapest platform, but getting the discounts it is one of the best places. With the new smart tier, it will be hard to beat in pricing.

This was issued now in 2 stages, and I think the 3rd won't happen as they have been sold out. Only 900 have been issued, as the team keeps 100 for promotions.

For the first round, the requirements have been quite tough, and I barely could reach some of the points listed. Having spent $3000 during the pandemic, on travel, was for me the hardest. I'm travelling a lot, but since the madness started, I've spent around $1000 on hotel bookings, where I could use Travala.

On the second round, I've could buy one, and I did buy one. The cost for the unminted NFT was $3500, which is by any standards a lot of money. I did spend this money, even more, as it was issued on ETH, where an additional $29 in fees have been added.

Of course, I could sell it for a nice profit, as the smallest price is 5 ETH at the moment. I'm planning to hold it longer, as here given the program, it may pay off in time and also will increase in value. This is one utility NFT that I have and would like to keep.
