Two years ago I was mining shitcoins on GPU rigs. However, I sold most of it when ETH was climbing to 1300 and a single shitty GTX 1060 was making me like 3-4 bucks daily. You'd better ask where I've been in 2010/2011 because at that time I first learned about BTC, but didn't become much interested in it back then...
