Can someone please tell me where the last week went ? It feels like it was only yesterday that I wrote the last #saturdaysavers update, but somehow a whole seven days has passed !

If you're not familiar with SaturdaySavers, it's a fabulous initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @sally-saver on the @eddie-earner account, where we all support each other in getting to our savings goals.

Let's start the update with the table of shame... I mean, progress.....

So What Happened This Week ?

I'm not going to go through all the different categories line by line. That gets boring, and I know you're all smart enough to be able to read a bit of spreadsheet.

The two main things that happened this week were that I was able to take advantage of a couple of price shifts. For the first one, I converted liquid HIVE to buy 23 HBD. The second one was moving 30 liquid HIVE to SWAP.HIVE and buying 340 LEO. That's next LPUD sorted then :D

I still can't believe LEO is at the price it is, it feels drastically under-priced relative to the value LeoFinance brings to the community. But perhaps it's just that there is a disconnect in the crypto world between the utility of a coin or token and it's price.

It's been a week where the real world has been pretty busy, which has given me terrible writers' block on a couple of days, but I still find it good and relaxing to come to Hive and engage with people even if I haven't got time to write a full post. Some of my replies seem to get long enough that perhaps I should turn them into posts in their own right !

Is There A Guide To Threads ?

Okay, this is where I need help from all you wonderful people ! I'm really struggling to make sense of Threads. Is there any kind of guide to how to navigate it and get it all to work ?

It's fine just browsing through it, but when I try to search (with both original Threads and Alpha) or use the "Following" button, it's like the system goes "here, have a bunch of random stuff, and don't even think of trying to find a specific thread you looked at 5 minutes ago."

The first question I have is to do with which browser it works best on. I'm using Brave; is there some kind of incompatibility which means Threads and Brave don't like each other ?

I've tried it with my VPN turned on and off, and it makes no difference.

In the real world, I'm one of those sad people who actually reads instruction manuals... Web3 seems to assume that you just instinctively know what all the icons mean and how everything works. It probably doesn't help that I've never been much of a Twitter user ! So any pointers are much appreciated :)

All in all, it was mostly a getting things done in the real world week for me, but I'm still keeping on top of my posting goal, and staying engaged even if I haven't got time to write full posts. How's life with you guys ?
