Saturday Savers 2023 Progress Report Week 6

It's Saturday again already ! I'm not quite sure where this week went, but here's my SaturdaySavers update;

If you're not familiar with SaturdaySavers, it's a fabulous initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @susie-saver on the @eddie-earner account, where we all support each other in getting to our savings goals.

Here's this weeks table of progress; you'll see I've changed the layout slight just to make it two columns rather than a very long single-column table. Also, I've added a new metric, more on that further down the post....

Hive Power

Good growth of Hive Power this week, entirely a mix of curation and author rewards. Trying to increase my post rate (while doing my best to maintain quality) is definitely paying off.

HBD

HBD is still doing really well ! The gains this week are all author rewards, and I've managed (just !) to stay in the top 500 HBD savers, which makes me happy. I'll probably push a bit more fiat into HBD sometime in the next week or two, if I can afford it.

LEO

A gain of 13.495 LEO. It's from a mix of author, curation and delegation rewards, and I'm very happy with the progress.

EDS

A growth of 0.6. The weekly growth seems to be settling down at about this level, which is below what I need to hit the goal. The figure I'm showing is actually inaccurate; I sold 9 EDS, but I've decided it's fairer to show the total I've earned rather than adjusting the goal for sales.

The plan was to sell the EDS's, add it to some other SWAP.HIVE I've got, and buy a bunch of EDSMM's. The order is sitting there in Leodex, but the price per EDSMM hasn't yet come down to what I'm happy to pay.

SBI

I've managed to get back on target with this one, so I'm happy with it but aware I need to keep working on it. As you can probably see from the other goals, I like to be slightly ahead of target to give me a bit of "padding" for if I have a quiet week.

Posts in Month

I'm on 10 posts for the month so far, so managing to keep the momentum going. The end of the week was a bit of a lull in posting, but that's down to reality getting in the way. We had carpet fitters in one day, and scaffolders crashing and banging for a day outside another (gotta love unexpected roof repairs !)

VESTS - New Metric

I realised that at the end of January, I crossed over the 6,000,000 VEST mark. Since this is the metric that determines whether I'm a minnow or a dolphin (and maybe one day eventually some kind of whale !) I've decided to start tracking it.

I'm not going to put an official goal on it, other than to say that by the end of the year I'd very much like to be a dolphin ! Right now, I'm 63% of the way there, which is after about 13 months of being on Hive, so I reckon it's achievable to get there this year.
