Is Bitcoin Moving from China to America?
The shifting is real
We all knows that most of the Bitcoin miner are located in china. Eventough the Chinese government has been in musky state about cyrpto as they are saying that bitcoin and crypto in common are deemed illegal yet there has been so many excahnge and also miner that still operates in China.
But it seems things might have been turn around this time. F2Pool Co-Founder Chun Wang in his latest tweet stated that in April 2021 saw a shift in the origin of its Pool hashrate. It saw for the first time that the Chinese become a minority in the hashing power in its pool.
Quoted data from the Digital Currency Group’s Barry Silbert which show a rise in its pool hashing power showing that there has been a shift in the bitcoin miner power. eventough China still hold the biggest hashing power to the entire network, the rise in the hashing power from America can't just looked with one eye.
So Which would you choose? Controlled by China or America?
While there has been a bad sentiment and FUD when Chinese miner control most of the hashing power in fear that the Chinese Government can stepped in and control the entire bitcoin network, where will the sentiment goes if the hashing power flip into the hands of American Miner?
With the rising number of big corporation who bought and hold bitcoin, the rise in the american hashing power in the network should also be closely followed from my point of view. Because when this big investor hold and control all the hashing power, they are also in control of the network and our beloved digital crypto currency Bitcoin.
