Slay the dragon will be a ONE time thing

Doing some sort of experiment - after all most successes come from trial and error ideas - for this month's LPUD, @leogrowth's initiative is asking for our help to protect the Lion's Den by Slaying one of the dragons that are attacking it.

These dragons have 2k and 5k HP (Health Power) and in order to defeat one of them, a Lion has to power up 2k or 5k LP (Leo Power).

It's simple as hell, but it's a first iteration of what could become the first step towards a tokenized, gamified Leo Finance user experience. We'll see how it goes.

The cool thing about this event that will only happen once, is that Leo Finance has NFTs in store for the near future, and every Lion who defeats one of the dragons attacking our home, will get ONE LIMITED EDITION NFT for their service defending our pride. There will be no other way of obtaining this NFT in the future, this is the only way to get this NFT.

What will this NFT be for? You'll have to wait and see because we are not finished with the NFT side of the LeoVerse, but I can guarantee you will want to get one of these Limited edition, only time minted NFTs.

Power Up 2k Leo tokens

If you power up 2,000-4,999 Leo tokens, you will have a strong enough attack to defeat one of the elite dragons and you will get a limited edition elite NFT. Lions who defeat an elite dragon will also get a 4k Leo Power delegation from the King of the Jungle.

If you power up 5,000+ Leo tokens, you will have a strong enough attack to defeat one of the elder dragons and you will get a limited edition elder NFT. Lions who defeat an elder dragon will also get a 10k Leo Power delegation from the King of the Jungle.

It's that easy, all you have to do to make sure you receive one of these NFTs and the delegation retribution is that you power up on the 15th UTC - which already started and finishes at 4pm PST - and you are set!

Normal LPUD (Leo Power Up Day)

The normal LPUD is still happening, the prize pool is even bigger this time because we have two new Leaders of the Pack giving away some delegations, so if you don't have enough Leo Power available to power up and defeat one of the dragons attacking the Lion's Den you can still power up and be eligible to win of the 20k delegation prizes or one of the bonus delegations from members of the community.

Just remember the ground rules to participate in LeoPowerUpDay:

  • Your total Leo Power (on the 15th) must be less than 20k
  • You must power up at least 150 Leo on November 15.
  • You must not have powered down Leo since August 15.
  • Make a post or a #thread on Leo Finance about LPUD, perhaps you'll get a visit from @leo.voter!
