2020 was a rough year for many of us and myself included. I started my own business and finding clients and work was not easy. I decided that while I work on my business it was important to diversity my income. I started to get more involved in the stock market and while I wasn't completely new to the market I'm far from an expert. Luckily someone close to me told me about this company Retractable Technologies, Inc. (RVP) and what they do is make very safe and easy-to-use syringes and needles. Now with the Pandemic this is very much needed.

So I invested some money a little at first but a bit more as time went on. I first purchased around the 3 dollar range and the stock slowly went up. I learned more about the company and saw its potential and the stock continued to climb. From the 3 dollar mark all the way to today. Now the stock has been going up and down recently but it's staying around the 11.50-12.50 dollar range.

They have been doing great in terms of numbers and getting contracts with the federal government. They have reported growth for both Q2 and Q3 of 2020 and hopefully, Q4 numbers will be positive too.

As of today, my initial investment has grown a decent amount and I'm currently up about 300% which is more than I ever expected. So why am I telling you this? Is it to brag, absolutely not! The point in telling you this is because in times of uncertainty it's important to look elsewhere and think differently about how to generate an income. The market is risky in general and while stocks can go up and down from day to day it's important to keep a level head and look to the long term. Don't act like a day trader but rather think like an investor.

While this is my first post on Leo Finance about stocks and investments it won't be my last. My overall goal is to share my story and progress with you all and share the stocks I'm currently invested in and the hope is that if others like what I say and share then you might want to invest as well and we all win together. I will always post the facts along with my opinion but I will ALWAYS share the facts and any DD that I have. I will never ask or tell anyone to invest in anything that I am not investing in myself but I am not a stockbroker and my posts should never be taken as anything more than my thoughts and opinions. Always do your own research and never invest in anything that you aren't comfortable losing. It is the stock market afterall.
