June 2022 - Hive Power Up Day
Looking Back At May
It's a new month and it's a good chance for me (and you) to look back at how I did here on Hive in the past month. That's why I appreciate Hive Power Up Day because it somehow compels me to have a monthly account review and see how it aligns with my overall goals.
So it seems that I was lazier busier in the past month that I only managed to publish 5 blog posts compared to last April when I did 7. Generally, this year had been slow for me in terms of making blog posts (which is the main source of income of this account).
I have honestly not given Hive Engine tokens a lot of attention lately, but I know that my holdings/delegations are giving me dividend payouts. I really have to sit down one day and see how that side is doing.
Power Up.
Last month, I did not power up this main account. I started to divert my Hive power to another account that is connected to my Ledger device. If you have not yet considered using a cold wallet for your Hive account, I suggest you have a look at my Hive Ledger Online wallet experience and see if it suits your liking.
Anyway, for this month I split my power up between this main account and that cold account. I decided to power up 50 Hive in this account while I transferred 100 Hive to my cold account.
Something Odd..
I powered up 100 Hive to my cold account and delegated the same amount to this account. For some reason, the delegation is not showing..
I'm not sure what happened there but when I checked, it looks like I have undelegated the HP I have delegated last month and the only one reflecting is the 100 I did earlier.
It is not like the Hive power got lost or something, it is still there in the cold account and waiting to be re-delegated when the cool finishes.
This is one reason I would like to start with round figures. I can clearly see how much it grows.
Dolphin Again Soon
I will be celebrating my 5th year on the chain in a few days. Hopefully, I will be back to dolphin status again by then. How much HP must it to be a dolphin once again?
