A Dolphin-Size Delegation, Why Not?

I came across a post by leogrowth, reblogged by anomadsoul about 2 weeks ago and the title caught my attention:

Ohh! That's juicy. I was immediately drawn to it as I had been into LEO Power Up's for some time before. I used to do LEO Power Up along with my usual Hive Power Up activity. Last year, my LEO Power target was 5000. I knew that was hard to achieve and set a more realistic target of 3000 LEO Power but I ended up with 500 instead. It was great that the rules about the reputation score was updated and I am now eligible for the prize.

Some ground rules to participate in LeoPowerUpDay: Your total Leo Power (on the 15th) must be more than 200 and less than 20k You must power up at least 200 Leo on June 15th.

I really wanted to grow my stake and since I could not get myself to write posts appropriate for the community, I decided to delegate Hive to leo.voter where I get a decent return of LEO tokens daily. Hence I am able to join today's LEO Power Up day.

Here's a snapshot of that power up done earlier today:

This brought my LP up to 700 -- this made me realize again that LEO curation rewards are liquid and not automatically powered up. Jeez -- no Leo Power movement since May 2021. What a shame. Earth, swallow me up!

Monthly LEO Power Ups!

So this is going to be a monthly thing and sustaining the 200 LEO power up will definitely be a challenge for me since I do not post regularly in the community and my average LEO dividends from the delegation is about 4 LEO daily only.

The plan though is to keep on going and who knows I can sustain this regularly or at least up until three months.

Did you know that if you will be religiously doing the LEO power up for three consecutive months (June 15, July 15, Aug 15) and won't be lucky enough to be drawn for the main prizes by leogrowth, you can get a chance for a 60000 LEO delegation from the Toruk himself, onealfa?

Well, I didn't, until I read his post today... That's the prize I pay for not checking it regularly. But at least I still managed to see it on time.πŸ˜‰

Basically,

Besides complying in full with LPUD rules, the pretender must:

  • not make any LEO power-down in the period (June 6th - August 16)
  • post at least once each month on LeoFinance a full size LPUD minded article, describing his LPUD objectives and motives (or whatever), and promoting LPUD. Naturally, these posts should be marked with a #lpud tag.

If this is not an inspiration to work for more LEO tokens, then I don't know what else it could be.
