Coins that received the most attention in 2021

Last year was the year of happy and sad moments as some cryptocurrencies took growth and others took an overturn. The crypto industry got a lot of attention and interest in all areas from investments of assets to other system like the metaverse, NFTs and other blockchain games.

Bitcoin was among the trend of 2021, dominating the market all 2021 but the public interest lost was about 25% in just a year. But above all still being the number 1 cryptocurrency and still the most search crypto in every country all through 2021, but its dominance was just 59% compared to the previous year that was above 80%.

But it can’t be left out that the drop was due to some trending coins coming into the market space and also due to the dominance rise of Altcoins in the year too.
One of the Altcoins that also took part in dragging dominance of Bitcoin was Ethereum and it was among the most search cryptocurrency in the year 2021 following other Altcoins like Dogecoin, XRP, and likely the Shiba INU.

The most dominant of them all was Ethereum in all the Altcoins, but Dogecoin was the top of the list and it has risen over 60,000 per cent in value and over 5,000 per cent over the last year. In some countries like Ukraine, Iran, India, U.S and Indonesia, it held the highest interest ranking

The crypto that wasn’t left out of the trend was Cardano, it took over dominance in Europe being the most searched cryptocurrency, in countries like Italy, its dominance was over 9%, also in Portugal it’s dominance was over 8%, in Greece with over 7% and Netherlands dominance was 8.2% and lastly Spain whose search dominance was 6.9%.
