QUICK CHAT AND CATCH UP ON LEOVERSE AFFAIRS.
Hi friends, how are you keeping? I have missed it here, so much. I have found that sometimes I struggle to allocate my attention to different things and when I try too hard it burns me out. I equally have an alarming level of ADHD which makes not not get around to doing all the things I want to actually do. I would spend more time thinking about doing stuff but my brain would stay adamant to getting the memo. Well, I have started managing it thanks to some tools and tricks from a professional whom I reached out to about the problem.
I have been active on the hive generally, connecting across different communities, but not so much on Leo finance, I only engage and curate a few times and I hate that I’ve been unable to create a Leo content; well, here we go.
A lot has been happening on the platform and now I think I’m experiencing a solid fear of missing out on all the amazing project Leofinance keeps rolling in. I know I should have grown much more than this but it is okay. It doesn’t matter how many baby steps I take or how often I relapse, I am proud I keep finding my way back and hopefully it sticks one day.
I see my friends and the some lions doing big things and reaching their goals and I’m super happy for them. Nothing beats putting in the work and watching it pay off. Just read some hours ago where @hironakamura crossed the one thousand Leo power mark and I screamed ‘god whennnnn’, internal screaming though, I don’t like raising my voice 😅
SOME OF THE THINGS I HAVE MISSED.
I have missed a lot but top of that list is the introduction of #leothreads. What? That’s is easily the coolest thing on Leofinance currently. For someone who used to be into sewing threads on Twitter( where I mostly just talk to myself), I imagine I would actually enjoy it. I first noticed it on the Dreemport discord where it is being used to run some riddles contest by the #dreemers, headed by @deraaa with the triple A.
I did a bit of research and here is what I learned. It works just like the other social media thread, it is a micro blogging platform that allows you to connect and interact with other users over short spaced conversations. My first interaction was with @ifarmgirl-leo -Leo and it was nice. She told me not to overthink and to interact indiscriminately.
There’s just no dulling on Leoverse, is there? The leothread works just like twitter threads, except with the huge difference of tokenization obviously, because your short threads could actually get upvotes just like your regular posts do. How great is that. It is a micro blogging system on leofinance that fosters the spirit of engagement and makes it easier to interact with other users; it is simply amazing. I have already started leaving comments on people's threads and I giggled excitedly like a baby as I did that.
I have tested the waters and can't wait to start threading too; as soon as I get over my infamous anxiety, but that b*tch is fighting a losing battle. One thing I reckon #leothread will do for me is make me spend more time on leofinance.io just like I do on twitter. The micro blogs makes it easy to read and engage with shorter and brief contents. Another awesome thing about is you can literally thread about anything; it isn't limited to finance topics alone. You can make thread about your fleeting thoughts even thread pictures of your cat if you wish. I'm so sold, can't believe this has been on for a while and I've been sleeping on it. WHAT ELSE HAVE I MISSED?
A whole lot actually, almost too much to recount but I am taking it bit by it. Thanks to @leogrowth that makes it easy for anyone to stay on top of everything. You know there is no sleeping on a bicycle when it comes to Leofinance, something is always in the works to give the users a better and more valuable experience; it's one of the reasons why I love it here.
The Leo power up for last month was a massive success, with nearly one million leo tokens staked. The turn up was great because the community rides hard as always. And now there are batches for Leo Power up days to make things more fun and interesting, as well as show commitment to the community. I love it.
There have equally been multiple activities happening on the Cubdefi platforms which I shall reserve as a latter conversation before I bore you out of your mind. I'm eager to get on board be a part of the liquidity adding gang. I am taking my time to catch up with everything like my darling @iskafan advised and soon I'll be blazing.
The LeoVerse is an amazing platform, easily the most interesting aspect of Hive and it is always a pleasure to be a part of this community.
