What Leo Users Most Focus Upon Going Forward

Content Optimization, if you're too occupied to read through the whole thing.

People say content is king and to others it begs the question why? From what I know, good content has a lot of merits that sometimes we ignore. Many people feel if a post doesn't take the top spot rank on Google it simply isn't good, but that's not totally true.

Being top 1 or 3 is great, but it won't matter if at the end of the day the content doesn't serve the readers well, so, content optimization is necessary, but how do you do this?

The first is building a personal content database

What do I mean by this?

Sometimes you figure that most Leo authors tend to talk about certain things quite a lot of times. If I'm not talking about the importance of blockchain technology I might be caught talking about decentralized finance or NFTs. While to people who never take out the time to read, it may all seem like repeating the same content, it really isn't but rather, it's a way of widening a topic in a way that keeps a reader entertained.

This is what I mean by building a personal database, don't just keep writing about random things that don't connect, you'll figure you get more readers and possibly voters when you have a niche that you keep throwing different knowledge that connects at.

The benefits of this is that you end up with different internal contents to build internal links. This is how you actually retain readers, the more content you have to link to fresh contents, the more valuable you'd appear to readers.

If you look at the media, this is what they do, constantly building internal content arounds specific topics to establish a wide range of internal links. With doing this, you help your content stay alive, possibly earning more loyal readers while also potentially boosting Leo's engagement as more valuable content means more page views and at the end of the day - more ad revenue, which you earn from.

Refrain from writing on already written queries

What's this about? For this I personally hope the new Leo UI will integrate some guides on content creation as this has a significant effect on Leo's growth.

What I mean is, as a person, I most likely would never open an article with the title "What Is Bitcoin" currently on Leo, you know why? Because so many have already written about it, this is something I believe has a significant impact on the ranking of these queries on Google. Because when a Google bot discovers 5 to 8 different posts all saying "What is Bitcoin?" It appears as though the platform promotes spam, I mean we can all agree that such contents from the majority of the writers will not be carefully written.

Leo users will need to consider if a topic has already been covered before diving into it, one reason we need a cool search button.

Leveraging Leoglossary

I have used Leoglossary a couple of times and more recently to enrich my contents. I intend to contribute more by using these links more often than not, so I'd actually have to apologise in advance if any of my post is caught without a link. Usually that would mean I posted via a mobile device and it can be very difficult to navigate and get all the links, sometimes I don't even use my own links when I publish via mobile, my contents with the most optimizations are often published while on PC, it is much easier to open hundreds of taps if needed.

However, I do intent to regardless of the device, but just in case, excuse my manners fellows Leonardos : ).

That said, as a Leo Users, you will want to leverage Leoglossary, let this be your external database that is still internal to the network you're publishing on. I do also believe using a few actually external links is good as well, this makes a post seem more credible, this is why I personally do a mix, I use numerous links from my own contents, leo glossary and external websites most often sites I got some research materials or reports from.

This enables me suck up a lot of value into a single post. So although search engines results may not have all of them, they are however on the "good contents" list because of this optimization, would serve a reader well.

If you are curious about how to market your content effectively to catch some earnings and possibly engagements then check out this guide on "How To Use Leo Threads to Market Your Content and Business Effectively".

Lastly, please, avoid link spam, Google particularly hates it. Don't you around using links that don't relate to what you're writing about or in the case of comments, what you read. I've seen people do this, and though I get the intentions, but when a conversation doesn't include a topic, a link should never be found there. Links are directions, they lead to informations, so if the informations found under these links do not in any way relate to the content of its referring page, it will be considered a spam and will be ignored by search engines like Google.

Thank you and please leave a comment, your thoughts matter to me
