HPUD - Powered up 1000 Hive as the first power up for 2020
For the past few months, I have been powering up some Hive on the first of every month. I keep accumulating the Hive I earn from this platform and power it up on the 1st of every month. Even though Hive's price is not looking very great, I wanted to show my gratitude to this platform in the form of Power up. This is going to be my first power up for the year.
I initially thought I would power up only 500 Hive because that is what I usually do every month. But then I thought it would be okay to just power up all the Hive I had and make it 1000 Hive this month. This is just for a good start this year. Hopefully, I wish I have enough Hive next month as well to power up at least a minimum of 1000 Hive on HPUD next month as well.
The total Hive power I have in my account is now looking very good. Sometimes I also do some trading in the internal market as well. But it is not always favorable for me. But at times it gives a small profit that gives me some happiness. I have tried my luck in trading but basically it is not my cup of tea at all. I never stopped trying. I keep trying to find out if I have some good fortune in that or not.
2020 had been a very great year in terms of my account growth. I think I have powered up lots of Hive in 2020 and especially after I started participating in HPUD, I have been very religious in powering up Hive every month. Just one terrible mistake that I did this year is that I bought a huge chunk of Hive with all my BTC holdings and held it in the exchange for several months. After seeing no hope in the Hive price, I move it to my Hive wallet and powered it up as well.
If I have had it as BTC itself, I would have been in a better profit because the price of BTC pumped 3 times since I bought Hive with the BTC I had. But that's just an unpredictable thing and this is how my trading experience goes. Let us all be optimistic about Hive and at least wish for Hive to reach a minimum of 1$ for which we will need mass adoption.
Above is the table that shows all the powerups I have made in 2020. Looks like in total I have powered up 7726.641 Hive in the last one year. I'm really happy that my account is growing. The total HP in my account is going to reach 20k soon. Two days back I read that someone powered up 7500 Hive casually just like that. I was able to achieve that number only in total but I wish I also reach that level one day where I'm able to do some casual power up.
With all the positive vibrations and optimistic thoughts, let's all start a new year. Let's hope the crypto world gives us lots of learning and opportunities in the coming year.
