Greetings friends!

*If you argue about the benefits and value of postage stamps, then you need to take into account the fact that they are able to develop some skills in us, to interest in the development of new hobbies, to get to know our world better.

*Having started publications about a series of postage stamps Cacti, released on the island of Cuba in 1978, I began to take an interest in cacti, learned more about them than in my entire past life, and began to study the question of the cost of this hobby.

*We can say that this is a hobby that can grow into a small business and it is always interesting when your favorite business brings some income.

*Today I went shopping for cacti.

*In a flower shop, I was not allowed to photograph, but in one souvenir shop I saw four varieties of cacti, which I was allowed to photograph.

*The issue of pricing, as I understand it, does not depend on the rarity of this or that plant, but only on its size.

*I saw four small cacti, the price of which varied from 90 to 130 Ukrainian hryvnias, which is from three dollars to four dollars per plant.

*But I think that collectors can buy these cacti even cheaper.

*You see one type of cactus in the photographs.

*Unfortunately, a description is not attached to the cacti and the name of the type of this cactus is not indicated, only a tag with a price tag.

*I think sellers are losing money because they provide little information to buyers.

*Each cactus could come with a booklet in which the buyer could see other types of cacti that can be offered to him, and a description of the types and conditions of keeping would be a good bonus and incentive for the buyer.

*The needles of this cactus are most similar to the needles of the Cylindropuntia hystrix cactus, which we will see on the next postage stamp, denominated in 10 Cuban centavos.

I edited a photo in the program PhotoDirector, which I also installed on my smartphone. For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.
