Going to write a short post as my mojo has disappeared. I haven't written anything for a whole week! Been dealing with sickness, but I have also had some time off and have just been chilling. I do admit I got drunk one night and bitched out a project for losing 2/5 of it's value on Discord. I have apologized as not every person can control market forces. You have to accept your own stupid choices. However it should be noted your confidence in 'project' managers are more than likely one and done. No amount of sensationalism or marketing takes away bitter experiences. Sure not everything has any ROI, but when you lose your initial investment for NOTHING in return you won't look at project managers the same way. In fact it's not hard to view them as get rich quick types and they loose clout.

Back to the grind next week! Real life work and not hobby speculative bullshit. Web 3.0, white papers, BSC pump and dumps...yah it's the future but time to concentrate on the present.

Ok!!

HIVE year in review:

Hive is back over 12 cents and skyrocketed to over $2 USD. I didn't think it would last long, but hey just shows you breakouts are fun and energized things. If you needed to cash out, over $2 USD was a good point! Amazing ROI if you bought in when it was lower double digit cents!

Hive-Engine tokens..

Some are like a lottery. Some have high promises, most are 'failing' miserably. Almost every project I have invested in hasn't done what it set out to do. Tribe owners or game creators sell a pitch, 'under priced', some will have their DEFI DEFI, others are just pump and dumps. When a game takes 2 years you effectively locked out your HIVE for the creators to 'get it together'. Most don't get it together, they are similar to venture capital projects without oversight. We know how those turn out.

I'm not going to name names because naming names names you as a name and that's when people's ego's get the best of them. How else do you avoid downvotes? The ROI on almost every project RIGHT NOW isn't a good bet if you are looking at it in terms of FIAT USD. Should have stayed in HIVE.. should have built more of a HIVE stack. But if we don't invest in projects there's also no building.

Hindsight is better than foresight. Personally it's easier to invest when things seem cheap.

Some games make promises, some tribes make promises. To date the only good project was to earn some HIVE. Well my HIVE was sucked into the ever expanding abyss and that could be equivalent to USD 30,000 USD..
This is what happens when HIVE is 'cheap'. At the time it was probably $5000 USD. For instance how much HIVE did I put into dividend promising projects? Well their ROI is fine but not when it cost you HIVE. It's true that perspectives change over time but don't expect me to sink another Hive into anything until at least one out the 5 projects I have put Hive into pay off. Maybe one has paid off.. maybe.

The matter of perspective is simple. Buy a token for say 2.5 per HIVE.. but it's dividend compared to HIVE just goes further down. Questions should be what happens when HIVE goes up? Well of course you get less HIVE. So what is the end game? Less Hive more shit tokens? Most games are just experiments. Most tribes are just experiments.

GONE.. well not gone but 'stuck' as stake in projects that are just sucking. It's too late, I'm a bag holder. Who would cash in with 2/5ths of what they had. Might as well be zero.

2022 YAY! Lengthened cycles? Shattered cycles? It doesn't really matter. The one thing I do believe is that longevity on HIVE is a thing. We do have to give things time.. in this case it won't be a year, but years. That is my commitment to HIVE. In terms of tribes.. I would love to pull out my initial investment. The truth is that projects that take years in crypto become less and less likely to actually go anywhere.

Never go full APE

Nothing is Utopia.
