January 2018 I saw it! I cashed directly into GOLD. I made sure to split it in half. Half for my crypto blog, and half for the shiny stuff that many poo-poo in the crypto space.

Stop using your own logic and start seeing what they are secretly doing! Sure it's Peter Schiff who sells gold and loves gold, where as his son Spencer is a crypto bull. Again don't look at what they say but what they do. It's just fodder for him. He could are less if Bitcoin goes to 1 Million per BTC. It has nothing to do with his business; but I bet he would trade some gold for crypto on the down-low!

Black Swan March 2020 I didn't see it although I should have! Not sealing off the borders should have been seen as almost intentional!

December 2020.. I saw it.

A long Bear market I sat through. I was all haughty and even thought I should take a break from blogging for crypto. Why am I getting only 0.07 cents worth of Hive? What am I even doing with my Hive etc etc..

I think the best word is dis·com·bob·u·lat·ed | \ ˌdis-kəm-ˈbä-b(y)ə-ˌlā-təd \ discombobulated (adjective). Definition of discombobulated characterized by confusion or disorder. This year has been plenty of disorder. I knew 2021 was to be no cake walk. In many respects it's been just as bad and perhaps there is worse to come. I guess the writing is on the wall. Deflationary event people ran to safety including gold. When the apocalypse looms we run towards physical things to preserve our physical bodies and family.

Then government comes to paper over the bleeding and just like a Venezuelan stock market miracle everything goes up. But does it really go up relative to the things we need? There's no inflation.. aside form crypto, stonks, and real-estate! No inflation at all! Oh yah forgot about consumable products like the things we eat!

So did I buy gold in March 2020? No.. because I bought gold in 2009! It just sat there, did nothing at the bottom of the lake while others couldn't buy it. When the FOMO hit I did nothing; because I did not need to do anything. I stopped blogging for a little while as I felt periods of depression and helplessness. Main street business was effected from shut-downs from which I continue to struggle.

This went on for about 6 months until I started to return to blogging for crypto. My activity began last summer before the newest awakening. There were no charts, there was no incredible confidence (other than trillions being printed). So I really started collecting Hive for whatever reason (again). I came back for the community.. not the 'money'.

For the first time in my CRYPTO history I brought out the wallet and bought some crypto. This was before everything started to really pick up. I write all about what to do with my crypto, how to 'spend it', or even 'hide' it from you know who.. but in the end I will more than likely be left holding the bag. Like my accountant said, it's only paper gains at the moment.

So I'm not here to be worried about post-quantum cryptography or the next crypto disrupter. I am also not really worried about when the next bear market starts. Yes, nothing goes up in a straight line but it sure looks and feels that way. If anything I'm staying in crypto; whether it's a stable coin or not. What I do know is never abandoned my crypto community; and during the next bear market (whenever or if ever it comes) I'll still be here. Sure my last post was 'bearish' on Hive, but it's all relative. Sometimes we want moar so we can get moar HIVE! Hive is influence, and in all honesty my participation on this chain shows. Keep it going during the bear and bull! If people do it for free on reddit and facebook; do it for the crypto here!
