Is crypto a hobby or a job for you?

As I have posted new content on Leo Finance community and Hive blockchain and while I have missed being consistent my mind flew asking if the crypto should be a hobby or a job...? There is a clear distinction between the two options as I see it because if I consider it as a hobby I become lazy and make smaller steps in achieving my goals. If I was to shift my thinking and consideration of it as a job, I would need to put up the work in order to get my monthly paycheck and that should bring the right mindset to be more consistent and not jump steps, find shortcuts or simply delay it for another time to do it.

I think we all face this question and we have periods when I am highly motivated to be in the space and others when our motivation falls down. But if we would look at crypto as a job that should make us fight more with ourselves in order to reach our targets. And what is great about this even if it is a "job" is that we are our own boss and we need to respond only to ourselves.

Another thing that keeps my eyes on the ball is to set some clear goals from the crypto hustle. Let's say you want to become financially independent gratitude to cryptocurrencies, thus it means you need to be clear about what level of income you need in order to achieve that. I think having a monthly target is the best way to go with it in order not to micromanage your earnings on a daily basis and use that time to produce more and think of the next moves. You can use a "budget" like a sheet for 2 months and track the earnings on each month and their equivalent to fiat currency.

Overall I think that we need a specific mindset when being involved in crypto in case we want to use it as a financial escape from traditional jobs or simply to reach some milestone and complete any project we put our mind to. For me probably would work better if I look at it as a job: have a specific amount of time allotted to it, have a checklist with the duties that need to be done and complete it on a daily basis. Maybe even have it more relaxed on the weekend but nevertheless, follow it as if you were at work. That's what it might work for me (I need to put this in practice), but at the same time, I wonder how do you see this and what works for you...?
