Taking profits is as important as HODLing

My journey in crypto started in 2017 when I've built myself a RX 480 RIG mining for Ethereum. There was hype on the market and I could get some pretty good gains when ETH went over $1 000, but I didn't as I had another number in mind. After the crash in 2018 my enthusiasm for crypto fell down and my focus on it decreased. Still I would get involved from time to time and kept accumulating but in small batches.

The pandemic in 2020 gave me more investment opportunities and I've invested quite a bit in crypto and stocks. It was a good year for this and at the final of the year things started looking quite good with a market uptrend everywhere. Things continued in 2021 and the hype took the market and pushed it to all new highs. But for some reason I still haven't taken and profits and just HODL. I looked to my overall balance, I asked myself if liquidating all my assets would settle me for life, but the answer was no at that moment.

And since that moment I have put myself a new milestone of growing x5 all my assets which would give me a free financial future. That's were I am aiming at, but I must say that not taking any profits is not as easy as it seems as I feel sometimes that I am running after a dream which might not come true. But there is still hope and my plans are for the future and while it might not appear a good decision at the moment, it might turn good in the end. I just need to keep the course and push my earning and accumulating as planned.

If the expected new hype until end of the year will take place, I am ready to take some profits from crypto. I will still keep my most valuable assets, but on some I think I could get some pretty good gains. Doing that should give me more confidence while still keeping me in the game with some angles. And with that I hope to improve my living and do some more real world investments and simply one way to ensure a stable financial future. So which you all the best, to take and enjoy some profits and plan for the long run!
