To gamble or not to gamble

So after Arsenal booked a place in the final of the FA Cup, I made a post with the @arsenal4life page where I vigorously raved about the unprecedented event. A certain Sp*ds fan that you may know as @talesfrmthecrypt said something interesting that had me feeling like I could reconsider my stance on gambling;

I took a baseless hardline stance on gambling sometime in 2012 that I've mostly held on to for the past 8 years. It wasn't because I lost money, or because I saw it destroy someone in my life, to be honest. For every winner, there's a loser and I've always known that it is just a game but out of fear of losing, I stayed away.

I really can't stand halfassism and that was probably one of the deciding factors in my time out from the game. Now I'm older and a little bit wiser, I've given it some thought over a few beers yesterday and have this itch to try my hands again.

My rationale is that gambling and investment in crypto are pretty much the same things when you consider how the prices rise and fall. It is still the case of "you win some and you lose some", so why not just put my money where my mouth is instead of sitting from the sides?
