You could become an overnight millionaire

I was scrolling through cointelegraph as it has become one of my hobbies in recent times and I ran into an article with the opening line

"A $100 worth of Doge 100 days ago will be worth $2742 today"

It's statements like these that draw the money hungry crowd into the crypto industry. For what it's worth, I have nothing against them, as long it doesn't come with greed and devious intentions.

It is also statements like these that epitomise the immense potential in the crypto industry. If $100 could turn to over $2k, then $10k would have turned to over $2m. That's literally how easily it would have been for someone to turn into a millionaire in this industry.

Also, the phrase "millionaire" is a relative term and in most countries that haven't suffered hyperinflation, having one million of the currency is still a lot of money.

In Nigeria for example, $2742 is worth more than 1.3 million Naira. The promise of overnight millions is one of the allures of this industry, and this smart money is going to keep growing in perpetuity.

I remember when I first got into crypto, I was so enthused by the fact that I'm an active participant in an industry worth billions of dollars. Now we're casually talking about trillions of dollars and it doesn't even seem like we're stopping any time soon.
