What's funny to me is when tech companies go to battle with old dinosaurs in congress and who run the USA government. I swear these people just don't get it and we can remember what a HUGE laughing stock it was when they tried to figure out what Facebook was up to.

Facebook legit steals all of your data, allows it to be hacked and selling your information to the highest bidders every day. What came of that government trial? A laughing stock at how totally out of touch these old dogs are with how anything digital works. These are the people controlling our government now? No wonder why nothing gets done!

Democratic Rep. Bill Foster

One of the dumbest things and far out of touch with reality was a statement made by this Democratic rep which again is seriously so laughable but kind of sad that it's true.

"You have to be able to go to a court to unmake participants under some circumstances" and "We need to have the power to reverse crypto transactions"

This means a "trusted" 3rd party system would be used that would store all the real identity information of peoples wallets and also allow for them to go to court and retrieve funds. Idk about you but every class action lawsuit I've been in you don't see a penny and instead get screwed out of thousands while the attorneys and governments keep all the money. This is the "trusted" system we want? I DON'T THINK SO!

This is EXACTLY why we don't want government messing in crypto. Not only do they completely destroy everything crypto currency was built for but they make sure a slow and huge freakin mess of things. Take away anonymity and add a third party system to track and be able to reverse transactions what do you get? I really trashy worthless fiat system again which is slow, heavily regulated and doesn't allow anyone to get rich beside the people at the top.

I call on you all today to STOP
