How I'll Be Using the ALL NEW Hivestats.io

If you haven't heard the popular stats platform I've used for years just got a huge update. Not only is it a facelift but the platform offers so many new features and backend speed updates. This post won't be about all of the new features but instead how I plan on using the all new HiveStats.io

With Hive and LeoFinance I set goals for myself on what I want to achieve by the end of the year. This goal setting is what helps me keep on track. With that I often do weekly tracking which helps me figure out where I need to focus more, pivot or invest funds in order to reach those goals I set forth. Of course with the understanding that the goals I set for a year could very well change for many reasons. Having goals is powerful but having the understanding that things change, new investment opportunities and price movements being able to track all of this in a beautiful UI with detailed stats is critical to getting it right.

HiveStats.io

First Up Is Your Vote Weight & Curation

These two key top areas for me are something I check daily if not a few times a day. It's what keeps me on pace and track for my two goals. A curation of roughly 10% and a vote power that is optimized to my schedule.

For whatever reason many platforms lack in showing what your hive vote weight is and how long it takes to recharge. For myself this is one of the most critical parts of Hivestats in knowing I maxed out my curation voting. I like to keep mine around the 12 hour mark so I know if I go to bed I have a little time in the morning to hit it again. This critical part of HiveStats keeps me on track daily and allows me to plan a bit to optimize my curation rewards. For example if I know I'll most likely be without a computer for a day or two I can go in here and maximize out my curation rewards for 24-48 hours till fully restored knowing I wont be "wasting" any.

Just to the right of this is my curation percent. Currently sitting at 9.42% I've been able to get this to 11.5% even with the new changes but overall if I'm close to 10% curation rewards I'm happy. That means if I had 100,000 hive powered up I would be earning around 10,000 Hive per year or 27.39 daily in curation rewards. Not bad! My real goal with those numbers would be to hit 250,000 hive at those payouts but I feel like the price of hive will continue to climb and at $3-$5 hive price those curation rewards will be spot on for what my ultimate goal is.

Analytics

Being in marketing I love my graphs, stats and all those goodies. While some might look at it as a bunch of pretty colors but really it's one of your most powerful tools for understanding your progression and what's working towards your mid term goals. These are broken down into 7 day and 30 day which are a perfect recap you need being that Hive is on a 7 day pay schedule.

The 30 day gives me a nice breakdown of overall and allows me to see what articles just didn't do that great and look into figuring out why. It also gives me a solid idea of revenue I'm earning for the time invested. Being that I spend about 1 hour and sometimes up to 2 hours in rare cases for big detailed/research articles it puts me at around $20-$30 per hour of crypto income granted my week of work writing is only 7 - 14 hours. (now this doesn't factor in my rewards from other communities but it still gives me a great idea on the hive front. Perhaps later other community tokens like LEO will be added to these graphs I hope? (perhaps in the paid option coming soon)

Besides that the other graphs help a bit but for the most part I personally don't use them. If there was one feature I would like from the paid version it would be that I could customize the dashboard and drag say my 7day /30day rewards graphs to the top and sit my profile with voting weight and timer at the top as well. It's really going to be different for everyone and what their goals are and what stats they care about.

Other Little Features

Under Hive Engine Tokens you'll see a little red bee or butterfly looking thing to the far right. This gives the option to swap or add liquidity for rewards on these tokens. I would recommend taking a look into this area.

Personal Achievements I Would Like To Do

I'd like to get a witness server up and running even if it's a low ball backup. I feel it's important that more people have the ability to do so and every one of these helps make Hive better I feel.

$100+ daily in hive rewards through curation, and author. It's a big goal and one I would honestly like to crush. I believe most of this will come when I start building applications on the Hive blockchain and put the team together. For now however I've been investing in other startups on Hive since I don't have the team or know how myself yet. Plus I feel like supporting these projects from the ground floor builds those relationships that are critical to the success of hive and to any future plans of launching my own applications.

Features I Would Like To See

This is a recap of some of the points above and also a few new ones in an easy to digest way.

  1. Paid version allows me to move around the blocks such as moving the graphs to the top of the page including my voting power.

  2. Ability to view voting power for Leo token

  3. Under Wallet include LEO Staked right now I only see LEO

  4. update hive and HBD trade links to go to Leodex.io
