Tell me with a straight face that you really think the true value of HIVE is ~$1.

In the last 9 months, HIVE has reached $1 at least once in 4 of said 9 months. As much as I love the consistent reaching, I hate the community's over-the-top reaction. At best, $1 is the bare minimum for HIVE. Even at its highest, the coin is highly undervalued. But it isn't the coin, is it? What really is undervalued is the blockchain itself.


Let's look at this article, for example:

According to this article, there are only 4 coins that come close to Hive's transaction fees.

  • Nano at $0.00
  • DGB at $0.0005
  • BTC SV at $0.00055
  • XRP at $0.00078
  • HIVE? $0.00

The next article that comes up first in a google search "fastest transaction times crypto":

  • XRP at 3-5s
  • Stellar at 4-5s
  • Nano at <1s
  • Algorand at ~ 4.4s
  • HIVE? <3s

Are block times and transaction fees the only things that dictate value? Certainly not. They however play a very strong part in the grand picture.

Over the years one of the most important factors that dictate the trust and value of a blockchain is community. More importantly, community empowering.

What most chains do not have is the community power that HIVE has. Completely powered by the community. 100%. Say DAO or public listings, hive has an incredibly loud community that dictates the blockchain's present and future.

As far as my knowledge spreads, HIVE is the only blockchain that has created history in terms of showing how strong a community can dictate its blockchain and has set a bar when it comes to blockchain governance.

Name 3 blockchains that can match HIVE's transaction speed, fees, and community. Cannot? Name 3 blockchains that have been stagnant on >$1. Can? That's the problem.

One thing I have begun to love about Hive is how diverse the community is.
New whales pop up every now and then.
More 70+ reputation accounts. More diverse communities are settling in. More diverse content creators are sharing their work to add value to their skills.
Hive provides a better APR(10%) on HBD saving than the top dog pancake does on stable coins(8%). Name one chain where you can purchase NFTs with such ease as NFTshowroon or Punks on Hive. Name one NFT/earn2play game where the transactions are higher or equal to splinterland's where gas fees are lower. Show me one more chain where content creators are valued more and not ever worry about KYC.

The list goes on and on. I am mad that we are once again celebrating $1 hive and not fighting for more.
Celebrate the pump, don't be satisfied with it.
