Polygon, or the associated Matic Coin, has already made a surprisingly strong recovery since the lows in June. Since the 31 cents a few weeks ago, the coin has already risen about 100%, much stronger than the overall market or the leading assets BTC and ETH.

Polygon reports successes

The question is, what is the reason for the disproportionate increase?
Apparently, Polygon is getting more and more attention on the topic of NFTs and has been able to report several high-profile projects with established companies in recent weeks, as well as benefiting from the crash at Terra Luna:

• Facebook published in early July that they will integrate Polygon NFTs on Facebook's US pages.

• The well-known community platform Reddit announced a week later, they started a NFT marketplace for digital avatars, which will be mined via Polygon.

• As also recently announced, about 50 exTerra projects migrated to Polygon, including for example the NFT marketplace OnePlanet and the PFP series Babybulls & Hellcats.

• And then there was the news about a NFT collection with Coca Cola and the cooperation with Disney. There Polygon is the only blockchain that was selected for this year's Disney Accelerator Program. There 2022 is supposed to be about NFT, Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality.

NFT expertise as key

So it turns out that Polygon is perceived as very competent on the topic of NFT. And that is interesting for many. Moreover, the ETH sidechain offers the faster and cheaper transactions compared to the Ethereum blockchain. This is creating strong demand. When the overall market picks up steam, the associated MATIC Coin could be one of the big beneficiaries.

Model for Hive?

Hive also has a lot to offer in terms of NFT expertise, as we have Splinterlands, one of the biggest PlayToEarn games! And with @Peakmonsters and @Monstermarket we also have the appropriate trading platforms. But that's not all:

Die Frage ist, woran liegt der überproportionale Anstieg?
Offenbar bekommt Polygon beim Thema NFTs immer mehr Aufmerksamkeit und konnte in den letzten Wochen mehrere hochkarätige Projekte mit etablierten Unternehmen vermelden sowie vom Crash bei Terra Luna profitieren:

• Facebook veröffentlichte Anfang Juli dass man Polygon NFTs auf den US Seiten von Facebook integrieren wird.

• Die bekannte Community Plattform Reddit gab eine Woche später bekannt, sie starteten einen NFT Marktplatz für digitale Avatare, welche via Polygon gemintet werden sollen.

• Wie ebenfalls kürzlich bekannt wurde sind rund 50 exTerra Projekte zu Polygon migriert, darunter zB. der NFT Marktplatz OnePlanet und die PFP Serien Babybulls & Hellcats.

• Und dann gab es noch die Meldungen über eine NFT Kollektion mit Coca Cola und die Kooperation mit Disney. Dort ist Polygon die einzige Blockchain die für das diesjährige Disney Accelerator Programm ausgewählt wurde. Dort soll es in 2022 um NFT, Künstliche Intelligenz und Augmented Reality gehen.

NFT Kompetenz als Schlüssel

Es zeigt sich also, dass Polygon als sehr kompetent beim Thema NFT wahrgenommen wird. Und das ist für viele interessant. Zudem bietet die ETH Sidechain die schnelleren und günstigeren Transaktionen im Vergleich zur Ethereum Blockchain. Das sorgt für starke Nachfrage. Wenn der Gesamtmarkt wieder Fahrt aufnimmt könnte der dazugehörige MATIC Coin einer der großen Profiteure sein.

Vorbild für Hive?
