As it is now customary to post from Sportstalk interface judging from the proposal going on in the Proposal to Adopt Rewards Change for SPORTS, I'm left speechless about what is happening, is this the decentralized system we all envisioned? Have we thought of it if other platforms too do the same? Users will surely go with the highest bidder. Is this action in the right direction? Is this the only solution to this problem?

I've thought of this matter in no small way and came to the conclusion that this might not necessarily be the solution to the problems of dumping sports at the market as dumping sports isn't the big deal and what should be the top most on the scale of preference of challenges facing Sports. The number one is lack of dapps and collaborations with other projects. Sportstalk by now should have been the much talked about crypto currency token in many quarters where Sports is mentioned. By June this year, sports would have been two years in existence, and here we are just gearing up for proposals. We've left so many things undone, unattended to to have started from depriving users of there reward at 50%.

By now, Sportstalk should have had more than two DAPPS built on it, either gaming, betting or Sports prediction, enough use cases to bring about the buying of Sports and more reason for people to hold Sports because they know the values.

When it comes to burning, a 10% of reward sent to null across all post made with the Sportstalk tag should be ok enough. At a flat rate, either posting from native or non-native. Even if it's a must to send user's reward to Null, it's still ok at 10% for non-native Sports posts reward to be Sent To Null. Depriving users of there reward because they refuse to use your Interface is a narcissist way of forcing users to bend to your rule. You're also depriving them of the reward from there post totally. That's not funny at all. Not forgetting that back in the days the @actifit you're all fighting against bought some Sports to reward her actifiters. To what extent is that now when the users can't get the reward. We shouldn't forget that the most successful tribe presently on Hive, which is leo is paying out it's reward in liquid, so is ctp, even scorum(a Sports content platfrom) is doing same, and still, dumping isn't an issue, you want to know why,use case, When a platform, tribe or a crypto project has a use case, the tokens keeps having values no matter the amount in circulation because users are making use of it in more than one way. The only one way of using Sportstalk is earn it as post reward or Curation reward and then go to the market to sell. Burning tokens isn't the real deal, the real thing is use cases, projects and dapp integration..

Lastly, there shouldn't be Curation anymore for post made from non-natives Sportstalk UI, those who are posting from another UI aside from Sportstalk UI also forfeit been curated for OCD upvote, an initiative under @cryptoandcofee. Accounts like https://www.sportstalksocial.com/@sportscurator from @sportscurator and @sportstalksocial
from
https://www.sportstalksocial.com/@sportstalksocial/posts can or should also curate sports content made only with Sportstalk interface.

There are still many more things Sports can do to make sure dumping is minimize and token value is appreciating each day. It's not a rocket science. We just have to look deep.

And for the proposal, it's the Yes having it, so, we just have to wait for the effect of our actions.
