As HIVE continues to inch closer and closer to the half dollar mark, I can't help but feel a little guilty. Maybe guilty isn't the right word. It's more like I missed out on a huge opportunity by not picking up more HIVE when it was around $.18. I remember someone on HIVE calling this FOMOOMP (Fear of Missing out on More Profit). I think it was @fullcoverbetting, but I could be totally wrong.

Nevertheless, that doubt is there. As the price of HIVE creeps higher and higher I feel like I am standing on the dock watching a ship sail away that I should have been on. Sure, I have a stake in the ship, I own part of it and I will see some return on it, but I should have been on it.

Think of all the people who had a hand or an investment in Jeff Bezos's latest excursion. Many of them probably feel like they should have been in that rocket instead of just watching from the sidelines.

@edicted knew what was up. They have been buying this whole time as far as I know. Probably working on a 2000+ word post at this very moment to unintentionally rub that fact in...

Is now an okay time to buy? Is there another pullback on the horizon? I feel like maybe I should be moving some funds into stables to buy back into HIVE if the price drops. I don't know, I am horrible at this kind of thing...

Speaking of being uninformed...

My buddy called me up last night out of the blue. I haven't talked to him in probably two months and then bam at 8:00 PM he gives me a ring. After a little chitchat, he says he has a question for me (ah, there it is). He asks me if I have ever heard of Digibyte. I think about it for a second and let him know it sounds familiar, but I wasn't really sure.

Apparently he invested some money into it and wanted some reassurance that it was a smart move.

Raise your hand if you have been in that position before? A friend that is relatively indifferent to crypto suddenly invests in something you have never heard of before (or slightly heard of) and wants that "atta boy".

I don't intend for this to be as negative as it probably sounds. I am really happy that my friend is interested in (any) crypto and expanding his investments. Upon further investigation it appears that DigiByte has been around since about 2015 and they have a fairly robust product. According to my friend it has something to do with security... I don't know.

Being honest, it probably isn't the first token I would have pointed him towards if he had come to me about investing in something.

Then again, maybe in a couple months I will still be standing on the shore and he will be sailing away in the DigiBytes ship...
