Bullish on polycub? I know I am. So much that I actually pressured friends into buying in. I am not a professional financial advisor. I am also not wealthy and super successful. I do believe that if you want to be rich and successful, you should listen to people that are. However, I’m confident enough in this one project that I pretty much demanded my closest community friend do a little research about it, and buy at least $200 worth of xpolycub. So I had the pleasure of helping @dajoker buy in.
A little background, I’ve only been in cryptocurrency for about a year…though I’ve always had an interest, and an intent to invest in it. During that year, I’ve had ample opportunity to make mistakes while trying to send money in unsupported ways, or over paying on slippage because of insufficient understanding of how liquidity works. So, the first thing I needed to think about when @dajoker said he was ready to buy in was, where was the money to begin with? We’ll come back to the answer to that question in one minute, But to begin with this seems like a good opportunity to point out the best method to buy into polycub that we’re not going to use. Why is it the best method? It’s http://hive.blog internal market, this market is run by the platforms arbitrage function…if you buy hbd and use leo’s new bridge, this method is the healthiest for polycubs economy. @dajoker had his money in USDC on binance smart chain, so after a quick google search, I suggested he try xpollinate.io. I made sure he had polygon network added to his metamask, and asked if he needed a small amount of matic to cover gas fees after the bridging step was complete.

He didn’t, and he was ready. The transfer was almost instantaneous. Even I was a little impressed.
I won’t share with you the amounts of my good friends polycub investments, but he chose to put a large portion into pHBD/USDC LP, and staked the rest in XPOLYCUB. The polycub exchange automatically brings you to sushi swap to make the trades. You’re going to want to keep an eye on the available liquidity and the slippage costs when you’re buying pHBD and POLYCUB, the community is working hard on bringing the amount of available liquidity up, but if you’re buying a significant amount it might not be worth the cost. Since he bought in we’ve watched the price keep dropping, but I keep whispering encouraging words. Don’t worry friends, when this trend reverses, it won’t look back!
