LeoFinance Marketing: It Works! 20 plus Youtube Subs in 24 Hours (Plus Secret Tip)

So yesterday I wrote a post about marketing Leo Finance. I think people were interested because of the Title:

I meant every word of it but from a marketing standpoint. And you know what, people listened. We got over 20 new subscribers to the Official LeoFinance Youtube Account

That's great news! It means that people read my post and they are willing to do some really easy things to help grow @leofinance and ultimately protect their earnings and investments.

You might be saying to yourself, "Big Deal. 20 People Subscribed to the Youtube account. That doesn't mean shit!" And guess what, you're right. It doesn't mean shit. It actually means fertilizer!

The truth is I love @leofinance. Its the best community on hive and maybe the single best community on any blockchain. If you are reading this post right now you could actually get rich from @leafinance. But, Leofinance sucks because nobody but us knows it exists. So Let's help youtube change that with all the hard work @khaleelkazi has already done.

Let the videos play in another tab as long as you can. (view duration matters)
Like & Comment (Comment a statement not a question so @khaleelkazi isn't forced to spend time answering them) Unanswered Questions in the comments make it look like its a dead channel.

That's it. And then the real youtube magic happens. Nobody asked you to make a video. Nobody asked you not to create on https://3speak.co/ or take time away from earning somewhere else.

Ideally, you will do this every time @leofinance posts a new video and that's it. Then Youtube becomes a suggestion engine. For our purposes it's not a video platform. It's a marketing machine.

Here is what I mean. The day after you subscribe to the channel just go to https://www.youtube.com . Make sure you are logged in.

What you will be seeing are videos suggested to you based on your search and subscription behavior. Youtube will serve you old and new videos from channels you have subscribed to. And, they will suggest videos they "think" you will like based on algorithmic factors from the "guts" of the videos you've consumed in the past.

This is a random snapshot of what youtube serves me. I've been learning guitar and searching folk music lessions. So, you see that youtube is giving me guitar stuff.

Circled you will see an old @leofinance video from 3 months ago. (I decided to watch it). Then you will see a tiny part of the next row that includes an Ethereum video (which I didn't search) and some old bald guy's face talking about BAT Tokens.

Here is the interesting part. If you look at the title of the old LeoFinance video, it mentions Basic Attention Token (Bat). That means something. It means that youtube knows I like LeoFinance videos because I subscribed to the channel.

And since I like @leofinance, I probably like what @leofinance talks about in their videos. (Youtube knows what the video is about because of signals like Title, Descriptions, Tags and ultimately traffic sources)

So in this example Youtube knows I like leofiance and probably BAT so they throw in the bald guy's video about BAT thinking I might be interested. They are suggesting it to me. And if I take the bait by watching, they will really think I like BAT and throw me more BAT videos in the future.

Are you picking up what I'm laying down here? Youtube is watching me and manipulating me. That's terrible but it is awesome! That's the secret to Youtube Marketing!

My Example of Youtube Marketing Me & Winning

I'm going tell you what happened to me a few years ago and why this is great for @leofinance.

Years ago my friend, who is a radio host told me to watch a youtube video of his broadcast. He was an author Interviewer. At the time he was interviewing some random economist and I watched it.

Then Youtube was suggesting I watch more of my friends videos which is ok with me I guess but then a funny thing happened. Youtube served me up a video from someone else interviewing that economist that my friend just interviewed. Youtube figured that I was interested in the guy. So I watched it. Turns out I was interested in the guy. (But I can't remember his name now lol)

Then a few days later Youtube suggested I watch another video from the second interview guy. Not my friend and not the random economist that I dont remember, but a completely new economist being interviewed by the second guy. Wait What? (yeah that's what I said)

Turns out the second interviewer was interviewing an economist named Mark Blyth. I liked it. Mark Blythe is a really smart guy how sounds exactly like Shrek when he talks.

So some time after the video I actually searched mark blyth on youtube. There were lots of videos and I watched a couple. Now anytime mark blyth is on youtube I get the video suggested to me.

I know what you are saying. What does Mark Blyth have to do with @leofinance? Well, nothing. I mean everything!

Youtube creeped on me and turned me into a Mark Blyth fan. I didn't really have to do anything. And that's the big secret and why just liking @leofinance on Youtube will help grow the community.

As @leofinance talks about more things regarding crypto and finance, and youtube sees that when the channel posts, real people come and watch, Youtube will suggest other similar videos to those users.

"But wait, so that means we will get suggested other videos based on what @khaleelkazi says on Youtube? Who cares?"

Yep, you will get served old @khaleelkazi videos and similar content and if you watch it you will get served more similar content.

"And that helps us how exactly?" It doesn't, and that is part of the secret! We are already here doing our thing. But, the same thing happening to you on youtube will happen to other people who have never heard of @leofinance.

They are out there right now searching youtube for tons of things:

Millions of people are out there learning things on youtube. And once they search something they get served more content and eventually (pretty fast actually) they will get served content from LeoFinance Youtube

It really works. Just ask Mark Blyth lol! The key to it and all you have to do as a current member of LeoFinance is subscribe, play, like and comment. We will build the channel organically but once we get 1000 subscribers the whole thing will move faster.

In essence, our tasks are helping Brand LeoFinance on the worlds largest suggestion engine and the worlds 2nd largest search engine.

I know that was a ranty mouthful but it is a pretty shallow dive into how youtube works and how it will work for us as a community. The technical crap really doesn't matter. I'll just leave you with one thought:
